Garden Silhouette Dreams

This is for today's SKETCH CHALLENGE # 372; Tuesday's COLOR CHALLENGE # 362 - Night Blue Cakes; and Monday's TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE # 364 - Wrinkle Free Distress. NOW how in the world could I resist using all 3 of these together? I couldn't. LOL.
God has been so good to me all of my life and so many times I have failed to thank him for bringing me through the rough and trying times so I made this to give to someone to remind them HE is always there to listen and give us the strength needed to face anything.
I used my SU color challenge matching markers on wax paper, misted then layed some white cs on top and heated to dry it the stamped the Garden Silhouette image and Close to My Heart sentiment from "Follow Your Dreams" in Night of Navy. I used my white jel pen randomly on the image. I used bashful blue and crumb cake cs as matts.
I punched a Marvy Oval Scallop in bashful blue cs and stamped the rest of the sentiment in night of navy.
I LOVE how this turned out and hope you do too.
RECIPE:
Stamps: Garden Silhouette - SU; Follow Your Dreams - CTMH
Paper: white, bashful blue, crumb cake
Ink: Bashful Blue, Night of Navy, Crumb Cake
Accessories: Marvy oval scallop punch
Techniques: wrinkle free distress

Through your lovely cards on the SCS gallery I found my way to your blog. I'm being blessed by your creations as well as by your posts.

Your statement, "God has been so good to me all of my life and so many times I have failed to thank him for bringing me through the rough and trying times so I made this to give to someone to remind them HE is always there to listen and give us the strength needed to face anything", has inspired me to make a card to encourage my lovely daughter-in-law who is having some health issues.

Your posts are very glorifying to our Lord and are certainly brightening my day!

Your sister-in-Christ,
Rita
