Trust God with a Kite Card

This is for Tuesday's COLOR CHALLENGE # 541 - Roses and Mints are a tip top treat. I saw the new KITE CARD TECHNIQUE and just had to try it since the WT Challenge was not loaded yet and I have to be at work soon. I found some perfect DP from Colorbox Beach House 2 sided dp. I cut the white cs with the smallest Label 1 Nestability set and then traced around the edges on tip top taupe and rose red CS for a mat then fussy cut them.
I stamped the sentiments in mint macaron ink. I turned the labels long way to fit on the Kite shape. This was such a fun and easy card to make. I almost hate to give it way. LOL
RECIPE:
Stamps: Trust God
Paper: white, mint macaron, rose red, tip top taupe
Ink: Mint Macaron
Accessories: flowers, labels 1, ribbon
Techniques: Kite Card

Summer Cathedral Window of Patchwork

This is for today's SKETCH CHALLENGE # 551, Tuesday's  COLOR CHALLENGE # 541 - ROSES and MINTS are a TIP TOE treat, Monday's TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE # 544 - Cathedral Window Patchwork and Monday's CLEAN AND SIMPLE CHALLENGE # 335 - Let's get beachy. I was so happy to get to play this week and look forward to more daily creations by me again as my job duties have changed back to later hours so I can play again daily. God is so GOOD to me even though I do not deserve His blessings He freely gives them.
I did the patchwork on the slatted panel of the front and the inside as well. I sponged the backside of my dp with mint macaron ink. After stamping the image on the focal panel I colored with copics.

I stamped the inside and envelope with rose red ink. Hope you like it.
RECIPE:
Stamps: Summer by the Sea, Birthday Greetings
Paper: white, mint macaron, rose red, tip toe taupe, colorbox Light Bright dp
Ink: momento tuxedo black, mint macaron, rose red

A Ghostly Birthday Card for my darling Hubby

This is for today's COLOR CHALLENGE # 540 - Tempting Smoky Curry with Birthday for dessert, Monday's TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE # 543 - Can you Resist? where I attempted Ghosting twice and finally gave up with what I had, Monday's CLEAN AND SIMPLE CHALLENGE # 334 - Summer Treats, we seem to eat a lot of birthday cake during summer months and the blowfish is usually what we catch when we go fishing because it is too dang hot for the trout or redfish to bite, LOL. My layout is from Monday's MOJO MONDAY SKETCH CHALLENGE # 407. This has been a fun sketch to play with. I made this for my dh for his birthday next month. He gets so mad when he pulls one of these guys in. My darling daughter (e3stamper) Shannon stamped me some images from her last purchase and I just had to color them up with copics. I cut the fish and the cake out and punched the sentiment with a circle punch. Needless to say my Ghosting needs more work as it did not do like I expected and this is the 3rd attempt for this card. I finally said, it is what it is.
I had made a stamp image from a die cut years ago and I used it on the inside of the card stamped in crushed curry after stamping first on the envelope and the sentiment from a Birthday quote set in temping turquoise. Hope you like it.
RECIPE:
Stamps: SU Small Sayings, AI Deep Breath, home made balloon
Paper: white, glossy cs, temping turquoise, crushed curry,
Ink: Momento Tuxedo Black, versamark, Tempting Turquoise, Crushed Curry
Accessories: dimensionals, Tim Holtz Rays embossing folder, balloon image made from die cut

Embrace Life All Wrapped Up with Blessings from Heaven

This is for today's COLOR CHALLENGE # 538 - Island Melon Sand - dessert - Stripes and Monday's CLEAN AND SIMPLE CHALLENGE # 332 - Mason Jar. I stamped my jar then the flowers on the right and left then used mask to stamp the one in the middle. I colored the flowers, stems, and jar with copics and then cut the images out. I embossed the marina mist panel with Candy Cane Stripes EF and used white card base. I stamped the sentiment in marina mist and matted on melon mambo after punching with oval punches.
On the inside I stamped the sentiment in marina mist and the flower in melon mambo after stamping off once. I wish the thumbnail on collages showed full size like single photos do. Once you click on the thumbnail the view is much better. I love showing the inside as a reminder to myself that I am keeping with my goal. Oh well. Hope you like it as much as I do.
RECIPE:
Stamps: Embrace Life, All Wrapped Up, Blessings from Heaven
Paper: white, Marina Mist, Mellon Mambo
Ink: Momento Tuxedo Black, Marina Mist, Mellon Mambo
Accessories: dimensionals, ribbon, embossing folder, cuttlebug, copics, layered oval punch

Recycled More Merry Christmas Messages

This is for today's TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE # 541, and today's MOJO MONDAY SKETCH CHALLENGE # 405. I have always saved images from cards we receive especially Christmas cards. This gorgeous bird image was a full size frontage and I trimmed it to fit what I needed then matted it on summer sun cs. I embossed the snowflake EF on wild wasabi and cut and adhered the cottage cutz sentiment in wild wasabi then attached it on white. The snowflake was stamped in marina mist on white then punched and matted on marina mist then popped it up.

I stamped the sentiment from More Merry Messages on the inside of the card in marina mist then stamped off the snowflake for the inside. The front of the envelope and the back side were stamped with the snowflake in marina mist for another completed card and my 1st Christmas card of the year.
RECIPE:
Stamps: Merry, More Merry Messages
Paper: white, marina mist, wild wasabi, summer sun
Ink: Marina Mist
Accessories: dimensionals, Snowflake EF, Cottage Cutz Season's Greetings

Joy's Birthday Card

This is for today's SKETCH CHALLENGE # 547, Tuesday's COLOR CHALLENGE # 537 - Hello Cucumber & Melons and Monday's TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE # 540 - Camouflaging Die Cuts.
I needed a birthday card for a friend in a couple of weeks and I have been teasing her about turning 60. Now that I think about it I will be 60 in a couple of years and it's not so funny anymore :(
Anyway I found a sentiment that reflects how a real friend should be and I decided today was the day to make her card.
I used a chevron stencil and copic markers on the bottom of my full white panel to create the camouflaging sentiment from. I cut and them stamped the images from DV set Make a wish and coordinating dies then used a copic to color the candle tips and cake with. Hope you like it and I hope she does too.

Paper: white, Cameo Coral, Hellow Honey, DP
Ink: Momento Tuxedo Black
Accessories: Die-Versions Make a Wish Dies, Spellbinders HB, deminsionals, copics
