Mermaid & Dolphins

This is for today's COLOR CHALLENGE # 381 - Whispering Island Party and Monday's TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE # 383 - Make Your Own Silhouettes. I still had these 2 cuties from yesturday and they were crying wanting to be used so I did. They are quickutz dolphin silhouettes.
My image is a digi and I am sorry I do not remember where she is from I just know she is so adorable. I colored with BG10 & BG11 copic markers then cut and embossed with Nesties Label 11 and tied some island indigo ribbon. This is popped up on dimensionals.

So Many Dolphin Silhouettes

This is for today's TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE # 383 - Make Your Own Silhouettes.
My layout is from today's CLEAN AND SIMPLE CHALLENGE # 176 - Sketch by Miss Minx.
My cs paper is bermuda bay and peach parfait. I used my copics and air brush system to color the background for my focal panel. I stamped the senitment from So Many Sayings in momento tuxedo black ink.
I used my quickutz Dolphin Silhouette die for my images cut from some dark gray basic gray dp.

Coast To Coast Pierced

This is for today's FREE 4 ALL CHALLENGE # 122 - Paper Piercing and Friday's QUEEN FOR THE DAY CHALLENGE # 118 - Stampin' Nana. I chose to CASE Roberta's MY JMU GRADUATE card.
My layout is from Wednesday's SKETCH CHALLENGE # 390.
My color combo is from Tuesday's COLOR CHALLENGE # 380 - Tango Chocolate Artichokes.
I cut my Nestie Oval and embossed it then with the die in place I used my copics and ABS to airbrush the tango and artichoke coordinating colors. With the die still in place I then stamped my image using momento espresso ink.
My dp is from a duce mix I found in a drawer, no idea what stacks they came from. I paper pierced the bottom panel then used my choc chip marker to add some faux stitching.

Close As A Memory Sympathy

This is for today's SKETCH CHALLENGE # 390 and Tuesday's COLOR CHALLENGE # 388 - Tango Chocolate Artichokes.
I used copics to air brush the 2 colors and then stamped my image in choc chip all on vanilla, vanilla card base, My Minds Eye dp and choc chip colored ribbon. I cut and embossed my popped up focal panel using Nesties Oval die.
Unfortunately I have needed quite a few sympathy cards lately and this one will soon be needed so I thought I would go ahead and make one. I am so proud of me I actually completed this inside and out and the evie too. Whoo Hoo. Now off to work I go.

Essence of So Sorry

This is for today's COLOR CHALLENGE # 380 - Tango Chocolate Artichokes. My layout is from Monday's MOJO MONDAY'S SKETCH CHALLENGE # 246.
Basic Gray Ambrosia dp. The sentiment is from So Sorry stamped in tangerine tango on vanilla cs and matted on tangerine tango. The long panel on the left is vanilla stamped with Essence of Love in choc chip then airbrushed with coordinating copic markers for always artichoke and tangerine tango colors topped with 2 layers of always artichoke using Martha Stewart Grass border punch.

A CASE of Woof You

This is for today's FREE 4 ALL CHALLENGE # 121 - Red, White, Blue; today's QUEEN FOR THE DAY CHALLENGE # 117 - cathymac where I chose to CASE Cathy's I WOOF YOU CARD.
This is also for Thursday's WAYS TO USE IT CHALLENGE # 379 - Man Up; Wednesday's SKETCH CHALLENGE # 389; Tuesday's COLOR CHALLENGE # 379 - Crazy Breezy Cobbler; Monday's TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE # 381 - Half It and Monday's CLEAN AND SIMPLE CHALLENGE # 174 - White Layers.
I just had to CASE one of Cathy's card using this darling image from Sweet-N-Sassy. I paper pieced his scarf from some "YeeHaw" dp from The Paper Studio then colored and cut the image out to pop up on dimensionals half on and half off my main panel. I stamped the paw prints in baja breeze half on and half off and the sentiment in cherry cobbler half on and half off.
I will give this to my dh who likes to be reminded just how much I love him.

Baroque Holiday BBQ's

This is for today's WAYS TO USE IT CHALLENGE # 379 - Man Up and what could be more manly than a BBQ Grill? This is also for Wednesday's SKETCH CHALLENGE # 389; Tuesday's COLOR CHALLENGE # 379 - A Crazy, Breezy Cobbler; Monday's TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE # 381 - Half It; and Monday's CLEAN AND SIMPLE CHALLENGE # 174 - White Layers.
I stamped only 1/2 of the Baroque flourish on my inside white panel and slightly below to the main panel then went around the edge of that panel with my baja breeze marker. I stamped the grill in momento tuxedo black then colored with copics, cut it out and popped it up. I stamped the mitt in cherry cobble cut it out and popped it up. The sentiment was stamped in halves using lucky limeade ink.

Baroque Rose

This is for today's SKETCH CHALLENGE # 389; Tuesday's COLOR CHALLENGE # 379 - A Crazy, Breezy Cobbler; Monday's TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE # 381 - Half It; and Monday's CLEAN AND SIMPLE CHALLENGE # 174 - White Layers.
I stamped only 1/2 of the Baroque flourish on my inside white panel then went around the edge of that panel with my baja breeze marker.
The flower is Spellbinders Rose Creation cut using cherry cobbler then sponging cherry cobbler on the inside with the die in place. I did the same thing with the leaves. All layers are up on 1/8 dimensionals and secured together with a large brad colored with cajun craze. Hope you like it.

Perfect Praise of the Lord

This is for today's COLORR CHALLENGE # 379 - A Crazy, Breezy Cobbler with Limeade Dessert.
Also for Monday's TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE # 381 - Half It.
My layout is from Saturday's THE SWEET STOP SKETCH CHALLENGE # 162.
I stamped the image in momento tuxedo black then cut and embossed with Nesties Circle die and colored with copics. I stamped the image from Sweet-N-Sassy set "Praise The Lord" twice and cut out one of the flowers to pop up on dimensionals then popped the entire circle panel up on dimensionals# The sentiment is from Perfect Swans from Sweet-N-Sassy Stamps and is stamped in cajun craze#
The dp is from The Paper Studio called The Classics.

Thoughts of White Doilies

This is for today's TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE # 381 - Half It and today's CLEAN AND SIMPLE CHALLENGE # 174 - White Layers.
So I inked Hello Doily background stamp with versamark and stamped just over half way then applied white embossing powder, heat set it then sponged pool party in and around the edges. The sentiment is from Thoughts and Prayers from Stampin Up and is stamped in pool party. I tied some pool party ribbon on the top and popped my focal panel up on dimensionals on a white card base. I thought this might make a good sympathy or just words of encouragment for someone.

See Through Kindred Spirits

Monday's TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE # 380 - Either/Or but both is More.
I have a drawer full of digi images that I have hoarded and collected over years and I am determined to use them up or toss them one.
I just love this image, he is soo sweet looking. I colored with copics then cut a square around the image leaving the head and toes and the frog hand in tact then matted on daffodil delight cs. My dp is from My Minds Eye.

Cupcake Kiki w/ So Many Sayings

This is for today's SKETCH CHALLENGE # 388.
My color combo is from Tuesday's COLOR CHALLENGE # 378 - A Delightful Celery Party.
My focal image is a digi from CC Designs called cupcakekiki and was colored with copics then I drew a rectangle around the image keeping it on the head and toes of the shoes. I cut out everthing around the rectangle for Monday's TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE # 380 - Either/Or but both is More. Since I am directional challenged I did the either. LOL.
Busy busy day at work as they are moving me to another room to make more patient rooms.

See Through Fishy Friends

This is for today's COLOR CHALLENGE # 378 - Delightful Celery Party.
This is also for Monday's TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE # 380 - Either/Or but Both are More and since I am challenged when it comes to directions I am choosing to do the either - Cut a way technique.
My layout is from Monday's MOJO MONDAY SKETCH CHALLENGE # 244.
I have not used this fun set in so long and thought it needed some affection. I stamped the image then cut my square and used my fiskars circle template to draw a circle around the image then my craft knife to cut out around my image leaving the 2 left corners within the circle.
Hope you like it. Now off to continue playing catch up at work from being gone all week last week.

C is for Cat, CAS or CASE

Well I am finally back and sooo glad to be home. I missed my dh, family and my stamp room too. I am playing some catch up so this is for today's CLEAN AND SIMPLE CHALLENGE # 173 - Ways To Use Letters;
Sunday's FEATURED STAMPER CHALLENGE # 132 - kyann22 where I CASED Rita's CHOCOLATE BUNNY; and
last Tuesday's COLOR CHALLENGE # 377 - Certainly Softly Blushing Brides.
Being out of practice that was all I could do since any more would have made my head hurt too bad. LOL.
I used some dp from The Paper Studio called "Persnickety" and the cat is from Cheery Lynn Designs Screen Door and Cat. My certainly celery grass was made with Martha Stewart grass border. The "C" is a quick cut from Daisy Alphabet.
