Happy Saturday all. This is for today's INSPIRATION CHALLENGE - Elum Pocket Journals. I used the FOUR SEASONS under the New Release section as my inspiration. Just love those colors. My main layer is embossed with Bird Call from Cutttlebug folders. and the deers are stamped in choc chip. I then ran over the top of the embossed images with my copics and colored the deer some. I sponged some ballet blue clouds and punched a kiwi kiss and ballet blue butterfly applied 2 diamond gems and pulled the wings on the blue one up. Hope you like it.

CAS Hoppy Valentine's Day

This is for today's LIMITED SUPPLY CHALLENGE - Clean And Simple, for my coloring technique I used Gamsol Magic for Thursday's WAYS TO USE IT CHALLENGE - Bottoms Up(Alcohol), for my color combo I used Tuesday's COLOR CHALLENGE - Breezy Pacific Gardens and for my layout I went to THE DAILY DARE and found this on Thursday's SKETCHES BY TAMARA #80 SKETCH CHALLENGE. I used some baja breeze cs for my pleated portion of this challenge combo which was trimmed with a decortive cutting blade. I made one end more narrow than the other on accident then decided I sorta liked how that looked, LOL. My frogs were stamped in black brilliance then colored with prismacolor pencils and blended w/gamsol blending medium. My sentiment was stamped in pacific point. My image and sentiment are from a set called "Hoppy Kisses" and it can be found at TREEHOUSE STAMP COMPANY. This card has only 3 layers to it, no stickles, no ribbon, no embellishments at all (insert pout). I will be giving this to my grandson, I think he will like it. I will tell him the pleats are for the frogs to jump on. He will like that. Hope you do to.
RECIPE:
Stamps: Hoppy Kisses, Treehouse Stamps
Paper: white, pacific point, garden green
Ink: black brilliance, pacific point

Clarabelle & Riley

Well work has been keeping me from stampin' and the only reason to forgive them is that the money I make allows me to buy more stuff. teehee. Anyway here I am playing catch up again. So this is for today's INSPIRATION CHALLENGE - Lang Calendars, for Friday's LIMITED SUPPLY CHALLENGE - Paint it Black, and Thursday's WAYS TO USE IT CHALLENGE - Pattern Pizzazz. WOW, I was so lovin' one of the many calendar pics I found that had a black and white spotted cow on it, I saved the link but when I went back to it all I found was a box with a red x. grrr. So I went looking through the pics again, can not find it and so very tired from work last week I gave up. I promise there is one there somewhere. So I stamped my loving High Hopes Clarabelle and Riley on white with black brilliance then colored with my brand new Copics. I am so begining to love these jewels. I layered my main image on black then white. My dp is from My Minds EYe and I used some glitter glue along random lines to pizzazz up my dp. I just love these HH images and have been missing using them. Have a great weekend and see you all in the challenges.

Happy Tuesday everyone. This is for todays's COLOR CHALLENGE - Regal Kisses, Bravo. I went to today's challenge list from THE DAILY DARE and found a kewl layout from SKETCH AND STASH # 2 Challenge. I found some dp from one of my 4 stacks of MME and used it matted on Burgandy cs then used 2 strips of olive stamped with the fish bones in regal rose. Country Girl Prayers

This is for today's FEATURED STAMPER CHALLENGE - Stamp_Momma(Lori). She has a fantastic gallery. I chose to CASE her WHIFF OF JOY CARD. I changed the colors, layout and left off the ribbons and brads. I used my brand new image I bought with some Christmas money for GET CREATIVE WITH ANN - #24 Challenge. I stamped the image in Momentum Rich Cocoa then colored with my new Copics. The sentiment is from Angel Wings and is stamped in rich cocoa then I used my new Jelly Roll Stardust glitter pen to go over the sentiment. Looks really pretty. The image and senitment can be found at TREEHOUSE STAMP COMPANY. Ashley has turned her store into a 1 stop shopping place. I bought some new dp (like I needed more) at HL last night that is just too kewl. What is also amazing is the umbilical cord does not always cut off the flow at the time of birth. I called Shannon last night when I got home to tell her what I bought and she said "I bet that is the same pack I picked up and put back down, wanted but needed to wait to get it later". Is that weird or what. Anyway I just LOVE the different designs and colors in that pack. Hope everyone has a wonderful Sunday and see ya in the challenges tomorrow.
RECIPE:
Stamps: Sarah Kay's Country Girl, Angel Wings - Treehouse Stamp Company
Paper: MME dp, dark brown, creamy caramel, white

Non-Cheesy Sweet Talkin' Favorite Valentine

Happy Friday everyone. So glad if finally got here. I know I am wishin' my life away. Anyway this is for today's LIMITED SUPPLY CHALLENGE - Non-Cheesy Valentines. We were to make a valentine that was non folded, easy to mass production of with limited layers and restricted colors. WOW talk about limits. Thanks Wendy for this kewl challenge. I created my own background sheet of 12x12 cs using sweet talk hearts and short words. I got the idea for this from Shannon last year when she was over one day in my play room. Sorta CASED her idea huh? The Happy Valentine Day sentiment is from H & M STAMP COMPANY set called My Favorite Valentine. I needed a small one to fit on the page and it worked perfect. I can get 12 cards of 3x4 out of this background page. My large heart is a Quickutz Nestie Cookie cutter die. I punched 2 slots to slide the sucker stick in . Well and since I do not keep suckers here at my house I had to make one. I folded a white stip of cs then punched 2 Martha Stewart Hearts in red cs and attached to the stick. I can leave it as it is or replace it with a sucker, either way I think it turned out too cute. Not sure why my pic is so blurry, I tried 3 times and finally settled for this one. Sorry.
RECIPE:
Stamps: Sweet Talk - SU, My Favorite Valentine - H&M Stamp Co
Paper: white, red
Ink: Real red, basic black
Accessories: QK Nestie Cookie Cutter Hearts, Martha Stewart Heart Punch, Slot punch

It took me a few attempts but I think I finally got it right. Whey, not an easy task for me but here it is anyway. I have never folded 1 sheet of cs so many differeny ways and times in my life. LOL. I used some dark navy cs for the box and some MME dp for the cover. On my cover is a sentiment and image from TREEHOUSE STAMP COMPANY called Angel Wings. I stamped off on the angel image before stamping on the white layer. The heart in the bottom left corner is a MS heart punch. I ran the sheer shimmery white ribbon under the box and made a slit in the top part of the cover to run it through and under my image panel then tied in the center of the box. I filled the inside with some valentine choc mix and will give this to a co-worker who is sure Choc is one of the main food groups. LOL.

LOLAnyway Shannon and her kids came over and well let's just say all was not well when she left then 15 min later I got a distressing phone call of her crying and I could hear all 3 of her kids whaling in the back seat... She was "stranded in the middle of the road come and get me please!" I had to take her home and then come back to my home about a 1 1/2 hr drive. LSC201 Seaside Sketches

This is for today's LIMITED SUPPLY CHALLNEGE. We had to use a list to complete today's challenge which included:
Favorite Stamp/Company - Stampin Up and this set
Favorite Colors - Guava,Pink, Blue
Favorite Embell/Tools - Hemp, Stickles & Cuttlebug
Favorite Technique - Gamsol Magic, sky scene, copic coloring
I also used my all time fav layout when I can not find anything else that works or that I want to use.
I am hoping to have both my girls over today for a New Years Dinner but it will determine how my SIL's grandmother is doing . She had surgery Monday and is still in ICU. Jessie's dd is out of town at her in-laws for the holidays so they will not be able to be here. Hope you have a wonderful Friday and I may have to make some more cards for today since I have SO many favorites from other Stamp Companies as well. Too many to choose from. This is my favorite SU set I guess because I had a brother growing up and when I had 2 girls it was my hope they would be best friends forever. Well I did not factor in sibling rivary. I thought it was just between brother & sister. Anyway growning up I did not have any best friends so I was sort of a loner and still have a tendacy to be that way. These 2 girl look so precious to me ramping throught the early morning beach sands. The beach is definetly me all time favorite place to be and my all time fav colors are blue, pink and I loved groovy guava when it came out. So sorry it is not a part of the color families :( I still use it often and now I have the matching copic marker since SU does not have markers insert another pout sign here :( My all time favorite coloring technique is and always will be my prismacolor pencils blended with Gamsol. I do l like the copics in a way but still love my SU markers better.
