Christmas All Year

Jessie and I spent the day in Tallahassee yesturday on a date. We are still trying to make up for me being gone all week last week. We went to Olive Garden for lunch then to Harbor Freight, Joanne's and Wal Mart. I LOVE the Walmart in Bradforville. We got home just in time for the kids to get there and dressed for the Halloween Fall Festive at Temple. They had a blast. I will have some pics later today.

Now onto today's creation. This is for today's FEATURED STAMPER # 195 - Cherylquilts. I chose to CASE her GIVE THANKS BUTTERFLY. I changed the colors & theme, left of the butterfly, used dp, and made my border straight rather than curvy.
I used a sheet of Jolly by Golly dp that matched the brand new Fiskars border punch I just got at Joanne's Saturday for Saturday's INSPIRATION CHALLENGE # 256 - Destiny's Creation finding my inspiration from this lovely Bell'Arco Necklace. I adhered a thin strip of red cs behind the border punch section and doodled around the corners of my white panel with my new red spica glitter pen. I stamped the sentiment from Stampin' Up's All Year Cheer I in Sage Shadow tied a red ribbon with a bow and was done. Hope you like it and have a fabulous day in the spotlight Cheryl, your gallery is amazing.
RECIPE:
Stamps: AYC I - SU
Paper: white, Jolly by Golly dp, red
Ink: sage shadow
Accessories: Fiskars border punch, ribbon, Spica Red glitter pen

Paper Pieced Framed Christmas Favorites

This is for today's FREE 4 ALL CHALLENGE # 36 - Rummage & Scavenging practice; Thursday's WAYS TO USE IT CHALLENGE # 294 - Frames; Wednesday's SKETCH CHALLENGE # 304; and Tuesday's COLOR CHALLENGE # 294 - Breezy Blushing Cakes.
Today I actually put ink to rubbah!! YEAH! There are parts of digi images that I love and parts about rubbah that I love, being able to paper piece is one of the many things I love about rubbah. I used a Christmas set from last year's release from TREEHOUSE STAMPS - Christmas Favorites. I used my black SU marker to ink the stocking so I could omit the circles from the image since my dp already had circles. I stamped 3 of the snowflakes randomly on blushing bride panel 1 and baja breeze panel 3 in baja breeze then doodles some dots around. I used the scrap left over from panel 2 to paper piece my stocking as well as some baja breeze scraps. My image was cut out and popped up on the oval Nestie and then Label 10 Nestie for framing. I adhered 6 pink gems on the Nestie Label 10 panel. I have a granddaughter who already thinks she is a "queen" so this will be her card this year. I hope she likes it.
RECIPE:
Stamps: Christmas Favorites - THS
Paper: baja breeze, blusing bride, Cosmo Cricket Jolly by Golly dp
Ink: baja breeze
Accessories: SU markers, gems, Nesties Oval and Label 10, deminsionals
Techniques: paper piecing, framing, 3d

ETA: I am just too excited. Another card of mine has landed on Splitcoast Stampers FB page. My day has been made. Whoo Hoo.

Things That Go Bump In the Night..

Howdy fellow stampers and followers. Today is Thursday already and that means it is time for another challenge from Treehouse. So this is for today's TREEHOUSE THURSDAY CHALLENGE # 073 - Things that go BUMP in the night! Now I am not one to delibertly defy the normal I just love to THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX as much as I can. So Jessie nor I watch horror movies and while I love to see the look on kids eyes as they go trick-or-treatin I never have been a great fan of Halloween SO things that go bump in the night at my house usually tend to be Jessie in his workshop banging and pounding on wood.
I used a sentiment and some images from Tool Time Digi Set from TREEHOUSE STAMPS DIGITAL LINE. I colored the images, cut them out and popped them up on dimensionals. I used a ruler to frame around my tag.
Now wanta see what the rest of the design team made for this fun challenge? Check out their blogs:

New Baby Boy

This is for today's SKETCH CHALLENGE # 304. I used the colors from Tuesday's COLOR CHALLENGE # 294 - Breezy Blushing Cakes and the Argyle embossing folder from Cuttlebug is for Tuesday's dessert and was embossed after inking the negative side with baja breeze ink on crumb cake cs.
My precious image is New Baby from KLM DIGI DESIGNS and the sentiment is also from KLM that will be released in November. It is colored with copics D50, D51, E53, R20 & R22, cut out and popped up on deminsionals. I sponged some baja breeze around the white layer with the sentiment on it to tone it down some. The sheer blue ribbon tails were heated with the hot gun to make them twist. A fellow coworker just found out she is having a baby boy so this is for her. Hope you like it.
RECIPE:

It's A Girl Sneak Peek

This is for today's COLOR CHALLENGE # 294 - Breezy Blushing Cake. It has taken me longer to get a good picture then it did to make this, ggrrr. I do not know why my coloring looks orange but it really is pink, trust me. I used copics R11, R20, R21, BG000, BG72, BG75, E41, E42 & E43 for coloring then cut out the umbrella and adhered it to the pink gingham dp that is matted on blushing bride 3X3 gift card.
The tag is a darling designed sentiment due for release in November from KLM DIGI STAMPS COMPANY and is cut with the large oval then popped up. I added an eyelet with some pink gingham ribbon through it. The gingham ribbon and dp are for Monday's CLEAN AND SIMPLE CHALLENGE # 90 - Gingham and checks. Hope you like it. See everyone in the challenges tomorrow, off to work I go.
RECIPE:
Stamps: It's A Girl, Umbrella For All Showers - KLM Digi Stamps

Monday's TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE # 295 - Make It Shimmer.
I did not have any perfect pearls so I had to use my shimmer white cs to have shimmer. I changed the colors, layout and theme of my CASED card. I used argyle EF rather than score lines. It is so great to be able to stamp again. I was so suffering from DT's.
RECIPE:
Stamps: A Cardinal Christmas - SU

Vintage Santa

This is for today's FEATURED STAMPER # 193 - Imamuttnut. I chose to CASE Laurie's WATERCOLOR TRIO THANK YOU. I love the layout and it worked perfect for my image. I changed the colors and theme and replaced the oval sentiment with some punched ferns topped with red gems to simulate holly and berries.
I colored this darling image up last Saturday when Shannon was over here and have been trying to find a way to use it. Today was the perfect chance especially since it might just be my LAST chance to upload for a whole week.
I will be in Boston for training and so far from my supplies (insert pout here). I will be in DT's by Tuesday at the latest. I have to stamp every day.
OK onto today's creation. I colored this "VINTAGE SANTA" digital image from TREEHOUSE STAMPS DIGITIAL LINE using copics then applied some stickles to the brim and ball of the hat and to his sleeves. I just think they should sparkle. This fabulous image can be yours for free with a $20 purchase so go shopping and get yours now.
I bought this darling ribbon almost a month ago and today finally was able to use it. Can you believe it? Just 1 challenge? Well I did turn a year older yesturday. LOL. Ya know it seems like after I hit 50 that hill I had been climbing turned into the slickest snow slope you could image and I am on a downward fast track. Things that go bump in the night have turned into things that go POP in the night, my back and knees when I get up. LOL.
RECIPE:
Stamps: Vintage Santa - THS digi line
Paper: white, red, olive
Accessories: ribbon, copics, Martha Stewart Fern Punch, Gems, stickles

THT070 Spooky Colored Dino Kid

I used some Recollections Halloween dp and the colors in it for my darling image. This image is called "DINO KID" and can be purchased at TREEHOUSE STAMPS DIGITAL LINE. I am sooo loving digital images these days. There is just so much you can do with them like flip them to the opposite direction if you need them to be facing left and they are facing right, resize them to meet your needs, need them now rather than 3 weeks from now, etc.
Ok so I colored my image with copics, ran a strip of halloween ribbon across my dp and tied my bow right where the bag is hanging so it looked like the bow was tied on the bag. Pretty clevah'
huh? LOL. Anyway, come on and play along with us, you know you want to. Label your upload to SCS, PCP or any other crafty site you use as THT070, provide a link to your blog post over at TREEHOUSE STAMPS BLOG on the post for today's challenge and you could win a free $5 digi set from THS. I made a matching candle to go along with my card for Monday's TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE # 292 - Stamping on Tissue just because I love to make these candles and have not made one in a while.
My layout is from Wednesday's SKETCH CHALLENGE # 300. I used a strip of rose red and daffodil delight after running it through the cuttlebug machine with swiss dots embossing folder.

I made this darling Halloween treat card with Recollections Halloween pack from last year. See a year has past and I still can not stop using it. I still love it. I used Nesties Label 2 to cut and emboss my image. I sponged some rich razzleberry ink around the nestie then colored the image with copics
Y00, Y08, Y18, Y19, YR12, YR14, YR15, YG01, YG03, YG05, YG06, V05 & V06. I absolutely LOVE how this turned out and I hope you do to. NOW, it is your turn. Show me what you can do with this darling halloween cupcake treat. My focal image is popped up on the right, left and bottom sides and the sucker was slid behind the image. I did the sentiment on the computer.
