I had fun with this layout again and will all the challenges. Today is my last day of being able to play this week. Just not enough time when I already have to get up at 4am to get to work on time :( Hope you like it as much as I do. Have a fabulous rest of the week my stamping friends. I miss you all so much. I continue to pray for a job that will allow me some more stamping time but till then I will jump in when I can.

ETA: The matt on the bottom sections and on top of the half circles is a close match for Lost Lagoon although in my PIC it looks like grey. GGRRRR

All Year Cheer Chirstmas Dots and Stripes

This is for today's TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE # 503 - Pencil Erasers, CLEAN AND SIMPLE CHALLENGE # 294 - Poke a Hole in it, and today's MONDAY'S MOJO SKETCH CHALLENGE # 367. OH I am so thrilled with how this turned out. It is certainly not the high quality of many stampers on here but a step up from my many of my last attempts. I used 2 pencils inked in riding hood red and wild wasabi to make the 2 dotted panels and the same ink markers to make the stripes. I matted the stripes on riding hood red and the dots on wild wasabi paper. I punched 1' holes in both colors of paper and then cut them in half and paper pierced the rounded part. I tied some red and green ribbons. The sentiment is stamped in riding hood red ink. I just love that font and use it more than any of my other Christmas sentiments.
RECIPE:
Stamps: All Year Cheer I
Paper: White, Riding Hood Red, Wild Wasabi
Ink: Riding Hood Red, Wild Wasabi
Accessories: Pencil Erasers, Paper Piercer, 1" hole puncher, SU markers

A Renewed Little Someone

This is for today's WAYS TO USE IT CHALLENGE # 500 - Happy Anniversary where we were to go to our very 1st upload and CASE it. Well I am not sure if there has been much improvement over the years of not especially since I have been out of practice but I did want to play along this week. So here is a link to my 1st upload NEW LITTLE SOMEONE. This is also for Wednesday's SKETCH CHALLENGE # 509, Tuesday's COLOR CHALLENGE # 499 - Saffron Pumpkin Meadows, and Monday's TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE # 502 - Emossing Vellum Revisited.
I stamped the bunny in versamark then heat embossed black EP, could not find my bottle of Fine so it went in places I did not want even using the embossing buddy, ggrrr. Oh Well, I colored with Copics cut it out and popped it up on the white panel. Sentiment is from AYC III and stamped in Old Olive (don't yet have the new colors). My dp is from DCWV - Grad School stack and even with the little bit of blue I hope it is OK. I tied some ribbons on the middle panel, I embossed the button strip on vellum and placed it on top of so saffron. Will give this to someone this fall I hope. Love these colors and had fun. Always love getting to play along. Have a great day all and I will see you when I can.
