This is for today's SKETCH CHALLENGE # 373.
I used Tuesday's COLOR CHALLENGE # 363 - Basic Pretty Pirouette.
I searched through my craft supplies Holly and guess what I found? Yep Acrylic Paints. So this is also for Monday's TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE # 365 - Acrylic Distress. I started with white and added 1 drop of red, stirred and had some Pretty In Pink paint to add to some white cs that was embossed with The Paper Studio's Intracate Swirl EF. After drying I sanded and then sponged some basic gray on the raised sections but it also got on the rest of it. Not sure if this was the look I was going for but it is the one I ended up with ;)
I used a Martha Stewart border punch on the Pink Pirouette matt layer then matted that on basic gray.
My dp is from Basic Gray's Crazy Love pack.
I used my Copic ABS to color the 4 layers of primas then added some white cording to tie the button in the center with.
My sentiment is from All Holidays and stamped in pretty in pink on white. then punched with layered oval punches from SU.
RECIPE:
Stamps: All Holidays
Paper: white, pretty in pink, pink pirouette, basic gray, BG Crazy Love dp
Ink: pretty in pink, basic gray
Accessories: cord, button, primas, whtie & red acrylic paint, Copic ABS, Copics, dimensionals, layered oval punches, Martha Stewart border punch
Techniques: Acrylic Distress, ABS, 3D

Garden Silhouette Dreams
This is for today's SKETCH CHALLENGE # 372; Tuesday's COLOR CHALLENGE # 362 - Night Blue Cakes; and Monday's TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE # 364 - Wrinkle Free Distress. NOW how in the world could I resist using all 3 of these together? I couldn't. LOL.
God has been so good to me all of my life and so many times I have failed to thank him for bringing me through the rough and trying times so I made this to give to someone to remind them HE is always there to listen and give us the strength needed to face anything.
I used my SU color challenge matching markers on wax paper, misted then layed some white cs on top and heated to dry it the stamped the Garden Silhouette image and Close to My Heart sentiment from "Follow Your Dreams" in Night of Navy. I used my white jel pen randomly on the image. I used bashful blue and crumb cake cs as matts.
I punched a Marvy Oval Scallop in bashful blue cs and stamped the rest of the sentiment in night of navy.
I LOVE how this turned out and hope you do too.

I have battled for over month now of which Valentine card to give to my dear sweet hubby who is just the love of my life and this will be it. I had to wait 11 years to find him but I have never been sooo much in love that it hurts to be apart even long enough for work. I hope he likes this one.

Elegant Embroidered Greetings
This is for today's SKETCH CHALLENGE # 370. My colors are from Tuesday's COLOR CHALLENGE # 360 - White Island Pool. I stamped the sentiment on the inside 1st in pool party then in island indigo for Monday's TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE # 362 - Try This or Try That. I used Martha Stewarts picket fence border punch for the front matt panel, pool party for the base and fold over flap and island indigo for the matt for base.I used my air brush system for the primas and they are held together with a gem brad.
I did something I do not usually do and that is to take a peek at those who have already created. In looking at the challenge gallery I loved the way Sallie did her faux curtains behind her window in this gorgeous FLOWERING WINDOW BOX and attempted to create that same effect, without sucess I might add. I used the lacey border from Elegant Embroidery SU set. I first tried using my white craft ink which failed. I have had nothing but trouble with that pad since getting it. I just can not get it to show up so I ended up with island indigo. Still did not get the angle I was going for but oh well.

Fancy Valen-TWINED Remake
This is for today's FREE 4 ALL CHALLENGE # 100 - Have A Heart or Two and today's QUEEN FOR THE DAY CHALLENGE # 96 - lisalara who is a sweetheart as well as a fabulous inspiration on this website. I chose to CASE Lisa's LOVE KNOTS. I made 2 knots at the top of my heart using twine which is for Monday's TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE # 360 - Twine It Up.
I did some faux stitching for Thursday's WAYS TO USE IT CHALLENGE # 358 - Sew Beautiful.
My layout is from Wednesday's SKETCH CHALLENGE # 368 and my color combo is from Tuesday's COLOR CHALLENGE # 358 - Pretty Pink Rose with a dessert option of Valentine.
OK so I was not in love with my last creation on Wednesday so I took it apart and did a "do-over" on it. I like it much better now I think. Not sure the white heart in the center of the big scalloped heart will stay, not really growing on me right now. What do you think?
I used some valentine dp for the 2 panels and matted them, I also sponged and matted the sentiment panel and cut the cornes.
I sponged the heart border panel as well. I threaded white twine in loops rather than straight around and like that much better. So give me your opinion please.
RECIPE:
Stamps: Fancy Flexible Phrases
Paper: white, rose red, pink pirouette, pretty in pink, valentine dp
Ink: rose red, pretty in pink
Accessories: twine, dimensionals, Fiskars Heart border punch, MS Heart Punch, Maurvy Scalloped Heart, corner punch
