Hemp Roppin' Cowboy

This is for today's WAYS TO USE IT CHALLENGE # 304 - Twine. All I have is hemp, hope that works. I glued one strip to the popped up sentiment and then ran some across the card and tied a cowboy boot button to it.
My layout is from Wednesday's SKETCH CHALLENGE # 314.
My color combo is from Tuesday's COLOR CHALLENGE # 304 - Red, White, Silver/Gray. I covered panel 2 with some tin foil then embossed it with Cuttlebug Stars folder. My base is going gray and I sponged some antique linen to tone it down. My focal image & Sentiment are from Lizzie Ann Designs and stamped in momento tuxedo black then colored with copics E30, E31, E33, E34, E35, E37, E39, E50, E51, E53, & R27. I sponged antique linen around the image then sponged the edges with tea time inks.
This also qualifies for today's STAMPIN' B'S CHALLENGE # 92 - SOMETHING NEW & OLD TIME FAVORITE. My something new is the silver cowboy boot button and my old time favorite is using hemp especially with western/masculine themes.
Hope you like it, now if I could get someone to go to work for me I could stay home and clean house and stamp. LOL.
RECIPE:
Stamps: Cowboy & Howdy - LAD
Paper: white, going gray
Ink: momento tuxedo black, Ranger Antique Line & Tea Tim
Accessories: Hemp, Dimensionals, ribbon, glue pen, Cuttlebug, Stars Embossing Folder, cowboy boot button

A CASE of the Cowboys

This is for today's FEATURED STAAMPER # 173 - Scoopy.
I chose to CASE her YEEHAW! CARD. I changed the layout & colors, used a different cowboy image and added a charm.
I just fell in love with this Lizzie Anne Designs Cowboy the 1st time I saw him. He is just so cute to me. He is stamped in Tuxedo Black ink then colored with copics. I used some paisley dp and my base is kraft. My matts are bermuda bay and black. My color combo is from Tuesday's COLOR CHALLENGE # 272 - Real Bermuda Krafts. I love these colors together. I tied a cowboy boot charm on my white hemp. My image and bermuda bay matt are popped up onto the black matt.
RECIPE:
Stamps: Cowboy, Howdy - LAD
Paper: white, kraft, bermuda bay, paisley dp
Ink: tuxedo black
Accessories: hemp, cowboy boot charm

WSC29 Apple Cider Cowboy

Well I am in tears. I have had this paper for several months and have not had the nerve to make a cut until today. I wanted it so bad and when I got it I did not want to use it. PACK RAT! HOARDER! That's me. I stamped the Lizzie Ann Desings Cowboy in Timber Brown Stazon then colored him w/Prisma Color Pencils and blended w/Gamsol. Sponge distressed the edges and matted on a light brown CS and popped it up. The hemp is neutral, rust adn brown braided together. The horse shoe is from Hambo Stamps. I used Beate's Weekend Sketch Challenge for a layout.
RECIPE:
Stamps: LAD Cowboy, Hambo Horseshoe
Ink: Timber Brown Stazon
Paper: Brown, Chocolate chip, river rock, Apple Cider

Certainly Bashful LAD Cowboy Howdy

I combined Today's Color Challenge to use Certainly Celery, Bashful Blue and Basic Grey with Sunday's Featured Stamper honoring TexasGrammy for this card. I CASED her HOWDY Y'ALL card.I changed the colors, image and background. I used Lizzie Ann Designs cowboy and sentiment. Hamob's rope. I also had to flip the sketch to fit my image. I used a round swirl rather than an oval. The edges of sentiment and image are sponged with Bashful Blue. Had to add some neutrals for the boots and rope. Image is colored with Prismas and blended w/gamsol. How'd I do?
