Sail Away For Father's Day

This is for today's COLOR CHALLENGE # 536 - Red Night on the Marina, Monday's TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE # 539 - Latch Card, and Monday's CLEAN AND SIMPLE CHALLENGE # 330 - Stars or Stripes. I went with the stars again today and went nautical for the color challenge. I have really been enjoying my Die-Versions Sail Away stamp and coordinating die set. I love it. I needed one more Father's Day card and will be using this one. On the inside I stamped the fabulous sentiment from SU's For Father set. All images and sentiments were stamped in night of navy. I torn 2 strips of marina mist card stock to make the waves then topped them off with some stickles glitter.
I am so proud of myself for sticking to my goal to complete inside and out and envelope.   I love this one and hope you do to.

Baby Latch Card with Stars and Stripes

This is for today's TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE # 539 - Latch Card and today's CLEAN AND SIMPLE CHALLENG E# 330 - Stars and Stripes. While we do celebrate July 4th I do not typically give out cards for that holiday so I have gone with a baby boy card today using some dp that needed some love and a QK die set I have not used in years. The suit is popped up on dimensionals. I used the SU Star punches layered for more stability then punched holes for the hemp to run through it.
I layered some white on marina mist on the inside and stamped in marina mist. The envelope is also stamped in marina mist.   I love how this turned out and hope you do too.
RECIPE:
Stamps: AYC, All Year Cheer I, All Year Cheer II

I chose to CASE Paula's CUPCAKE CARD. I love how this turned out. I just picked up this Prima Cracked Stencil on my last visit to Hobby Lobby and used it today for the Grungy look sponging all 3 colors from the CC then stamping my sentiment in rich razzleberry. My card base is white and I added a layer of rich razzleberry between my base and top layer.
I made a window card by cutting the open cupcake die on all 3 layers. I used the top layer die cut for the cupcake on the inside. I cut 8 cherries in rich razzleberry and placed them where I wanted them. I hope you like this.

Looking Through The Porthole

This is for today's SKETCH CHALLENGE # 545, Tuesday's COLOR CHALLENGE # 535 - Rich Delight in Bermuda, Monday's TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE # 538 - Look into my window, and Monday's CLEAN AND SIMPLE CHALLENGE # 329 - Thank You Paula. I CASED Paula's gorgeous ARIEL CARD keeping with the mermaid but from a different image company.
I mean with today's sketch and Monday's Look into my window how could I resist a ships porthole front? I love making window cards and this was so fun. I punched the hole on the card base the same size as the inside of the porthole layer then stamped my image on the inside panel where the mermaid could be seen. I separated the front base and porthole with transparency. I used some screw brads on the porthole, punched some circles and colored with copics then topped with transparency.

The image was colored with copics and the mountain as well. I stamped the seaweed with the 3 colors from the color challenge and the sun with daffodil delight. The sentiment in the bottom right corner on the front and the boat on the envelope are stamped in Bermuda bay. Hope you like it.

Stamps: Boatloads of Love & On the Beach - SU; Cute Little Mermaid - Deep Red
Paper: white, Rich Razzleberry
Ink: Momento Tuxedo Black, Rich Razzleberry, Daffodil Delight, Bermada Bay

Spinkled Butterfly Birthday Latch Card

This is for today's COLOR CHALLENGE # 534 - Pools of Wisteria Bliss, Monday's TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE # 537 - On A Roll, my layout if from Monday's MOJO MONDAY SKETCH CHALLENGE # 401. I decided the sketch would fit well with the new LATCH CARD following the tutorial from SCS HERE. I used the pool party rolled edge ribbon bow and attached a butterfly cut in white and colored with copies and matted on wisteria wonder angel wings for the catch holding the card together. The ribbon covers the scored lines allowing for the bending. I stamped the sentiment on the focal panel in blackberry bliss then tore the bottom edge and rolled it, matted on blackberry bliss and wisteria wonder with the bottom edges torn and rolled. I stamped the butterfly image from Sprinkles in blackberry bliss on the envelope.
I stamped the sprinkles butterfly image in wisteria wonder on the inside after stamping off and the HB sentiment is from All Holidays stamped in blackberry bliss.  Hope you like it.
RECIPE:
Stamps: SU - Sprinkles & All Holidays, Joanne's - Birthday sentiments
Paper: White, Wisteria Wonder, Blackberry Bliss,
Ink: Blackberry Bliss, Wisteria Wonder

Sail Away In Rolling Waves

This is for today's TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE 537 - On A Roll, and Monday's CLEAN AND SIMPLE CHALLENGE # 328 - Let The Sunshine In, and Monday's MOJO MONDAY SKETCH CHALLENGE # 401. I sponged daffodil delight on the white base using Tim Holz Rays Stencil. The focal image was sponged with tempting turquoise for the clouds. The bottom is pool party cs torn and rolled up on the edges then I used my white jel pen to highlight the waves. The boat was cut using the coordinating die then stamped in black and I used Copic R14 to color the boat and the compass which is popped up on dimensionals. I used some pool party ribbon (which is also rolled up on edges) and real red cs on the right edge. The envelope was finished with the cap stamped in black after cutting the die then colored with R14. I will have to wait until I get ready to give this for the inside as it can be used for many different occasions.  Hope you like it.

I searched high and low and this is the only car I have.  I have several trucks but no cars.
Anyway I am once again completing inside, out and envelope and needed at least 1 more Father's Day card so I kept with more Basic Gray than the pinks.
This time I also splattered the inside as well I covered the lights and windshield with some glossy accents and dabbed some glitter in the flower centers. Didn't want to go to far since this is for a manly man. I used some basic gray for the road and divided it with a white jel pen. Hope you like it.
