The inside of the cup was also paper pieced with vanilla then colored with E35, E37, E39. The marshmallows were colored with the white jel pen. I stamped the sentiment with riding hood red. Flight of the Bee CASEing

This is for today's FEATURED STAMPER - Mrs.Boz. I decided on her BE YOURSELF CARD. I loved the colors and sentiment on this darling card. I changed the theme, layout, and used honeycomb embossed plate. I just had to pull out my Flight of the Bees from CLEAR AND SIMPLE STAMPS. This was one of my 1st purchases from them and I love it. I stamped the bee on white then colored with copics. I punched them with 1in circle punch then black matt with 1 1/4 in circle punch. I punched a hole in the top to thread the hemp and tie around the ribbon. My layout is from Saturday's OUR CREATIVE CORNER CHALLENGE - Sketch. I found some cs that was close to honey colored and trimmed it with my Martha Stewart drippy goo bc honey is drippy right? LOL. I added some stickles to the bee wings and the dripping portion of the trim. Sentiment was stamped with graphite black.

Cup of Cocoa Snowman Soup Treat Box Sneak Peek

OH I just love this time of year and sending Snowman Soup is right up there on the top of my To Do List. LOL. I made this treat box out of a piece of Winter Textured DP from Wal Mart years ago. It measures out finished 5H,4L,1W and is filled with Hot Cocoa Mix, Marshmallows (they are there just hard to see) and a candy cane. I punched out the Nesties Oval Scallop in the center of the front side of the treat box then used that section to matt the sentiment on that is stamped in bashful blue and pacific point for the matching greeting card using a white card base and the dark blue textured cs from the stack. I used a set that will be released Dec 1st at midnight from CLEAR AND SIMPLE STAMPS. Hold onto your hat's because Sue has created another awesome template to coordinate with this darling stamp set. Oh I hope you like this sneak peek. Keep watching for more sneak peeks and eye candy from the CSS Design Team Members. Here is a snap shot of everything separated.and this is a close up of the card.

Sneak Peek Cup of Cocoa in a Winter Sleigh

Well Sue Berker over at Clear and Simple Stamps has done it again with a fantastic and fun template this month as a bonus. With the holiday season getting to a great start this Winter Sleigh template is a perfect addition to the seasonal decor around the home or office. Fill it full of goodies and watch everyone around flock to your desk

I used some red glitter dp for the sleigh body and some metallic dp for the gold frame. For the inside I used my gold leafing pen. I used 4 lg gold brads to attached the frame to the sleigh. A gold wired ribbon bow adorns the outside, red confetti paper on the inside topped with red and gree peppermints. I punched 2 Nestie labels 4 in Glorious Green cs then stamped the frame image from Cup of Cocoa set that will be released on Dec 1st in real red and the sentiment is from a set released the 15th of this month called Cookie Bake. Both sets are from Clear and Simple Stamps. I cut out the frames and attached it to the Nesties on both sides so that they look the same from front and back then adhered them to the jumbo paper clip and slid the clip to the side of the sleigh. This template can be found on the Clear and Simple Stamps Blog for you to print out and make one for yourself. I love how this turned out and hope you do too.

Winter Snowmen Fun

This is for today's SKETCH CHALLENGE. Rox has given us a "funky" sketch this week to play with. OK don't faint, yes this is just 1 challenge. I had this vision in my head as soon as I saw the SC and did not want to stray from it. I am absolutely luvin' how this turned out. I stamped the snowflakes in versamark on both pieces of cs and embossed the white with Cuttlebugs Snowflake folder then highlighted with some stickles. Ya know I gotta have some stickles. LOL. My cute snowmen were stamped in graphite black then colored with copics, cut out and popped up on the same colors of CS punched with 1 3/8 circle punches and then SU scallop circle punch. The sketch made me think of snowmen playing on a hill of snow so that is what I went with and I hope you like it too. I tore some cotton balls and spread them out to be placed under the card for this picture which makes it look like this card is also standing on snow. Cute Huh? I am so gifted, NOT!!

So Sweet Strawberries

This is for today's COLOR CHALLENGE - Always Real Chocolate. For my layout I used today's FLOURISHES TIMELESS TUESDAY CHALLENGE sketch. I also included Monday's TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE - Outside the Box. I stamped my image in graphite black, cut around the left side then used the Nestie large square to complete the cutting process. I cut a little too close inside so I ended up having to trim all the way around losing my embossing look (insert pout here). Focal image is matted on red then artichoke. My dp panel is from MME stack and the red strip was ran through the cuttlebug with my brand new heringbone folder. Love that CB. I tied some choc grosgrain ribbon around both panels and added a bow on the dp strip. They both are dark brown even though the one on the dp panel looks black.  I need a new camera for Christmas! CAS Winter DT Call

This is for the CAS DT WINTER CALL. I used this darling SNOWFLAKE, ICICLE, and ICE CUBE ORNAMETS for inspiration for this Wintery inspiration and combined it with sketch #1. I used some Winter Snowflake textured dp I have had for a couple yrs from WalMart for the top panel and bashful blue cs for the base. I punched a strip of white and used my MS drippy goo border punch bc it looks like melting snow. I punched the small and medium side snowflakes from this fantastic set just released on the 15th from CLEAR AND SIMPLE STAMPS - Winter in bashful blue and pacific point ink. I love this set. I punched the snowflakes using circle punches then aligned them on top of the blue ribbon. I applied a little stickles on the tips of the border.
RECIPE:
Stamps: Winter - CSS
Paper: bashful blue, white, WM Wintery Textured dp
Ink: bashful blue, pacific point
Accessories: ribbon, MS drippy goo border punch, stickles, circle punches

This one is also for the CLEAN AND SIMPLE WINTER CALL. I used an autumn set recently released from TREEHOUSE STAMPS - Autumn Blessings. I used this MAPLE LEAF GLASS ORNAMENT for my inspiration and combined it with Sketch #2 to make this card. I stamped the leaf in this fun autumn set in kiwi kiss, crushed curry and dusty durango. I also rolled some of the leaves in a 2nd color. I love the way leaves look this time of year in their varigated shades. Each leaf is punched with a square and the dusty durango mat is the smalled deckled punch from Fiskars. This ended up larger than I normally like but I think it turned out ok.
RECIPE:
Stamps: Autumn Blessings - THS
Paper: vanilla, dusty durango
Ink: dusty durango
Accessories: Fiskars deckle punch

I traced around the tail with a pencil using Nestie Labels 3 as my guide then punched and embossed with the cuttlebug machine. I colored the image with copics then covered some of the tree with my white jel pen then glue and sprinkled some Stampendous snow glitter ontop. It really sparkles IRL. My focal image is up on dimensionals. I used the Nestie circle for my next layer and for my 2 of my 3 back panels I used some of Hobby Lobbyies Season Greetings dp and green cs. My layout is from week 2 of THE GREETING FARMS WHERE THE WILD THINGS ARE - Guest DT Search. I wanted to stamp Tuesday and the color challenge was not up and I had to be at work early so no stamping for me until this morning so I did my usual and piled them alll together. LOL. This is for today's SKETCH CHALLENGE and Tuesday's COLOR CHALLENGE - Very Bravo Kraft and Monday's TECHNQIUE LOVERS CHALLENGE - Paper Towel Flowers. I used 1 drop at a time to get varigated shades of burgandy coloring. I love this color. I also used a bit more glimmer mist this time and this one really sparkles, I love me some glitter and shine. My flower is held together and attached to the focal panel by a vanilla lg brad. My sentiment is from Close to My Heart and is stamped in bravo burgandy. I doodled around the edges. Inspired Paper Flower With Warm Regards

This is for today's TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE - Paper Towel Flowers. I am like Lynn I love the colors of Spring flowers but also love the fall colors as well so I was inspired by this photo from Saturday's OUR CREATIVE CORNER CHALLENGE . I needed a card for a co-worker who gave me a huge compliment and pat on the back in front of our CEO last week so I am also using Today's THE PINK ELEPHANT CHALLENGE # 40 - Be Thankful. I was hoping I could get a really good pic of this flower as it really sparkles in the light. NOT happin'. I need photo lessons. Anyway I punched the Maurvy Extra Giga, Giga, Mega Fiskars scalloped circles, SU Scallop circle and 1in circle using my paper towel then I started with Glimmer mist added to Barely banana then summer sun, then dusty durango then choc chip spraying randomly as I added new colors. I love how this turned out. The center is a big brown brad that I had no idea what I was ever going to use these huge brads on and it certainly worked today. Whoo Hoo. I love it when a plans comes together. Anyway my dp is Recollections Autumn stack and I used some dusty durango polka dot ribbon. My sentiment was stamped in dusty durango then punched with SU large oval punch and layered with dusty durango. Hope you like it.

Mistletoe Kiss Digi Contest

Oh I absolutely LOVE these digi images from THE GREETING FARM and this one especially. These 2 kissing skunks just tickle my funny bone. I stamped the image in graphite black then colored with copics. Seems I am so neglecting my prismacolor pencils and gamsol lately. Need to get them back out again soon. Anyway. I trimmed the focal image using my Fiskars 2.5in circle template and a pencil then used my scissors to cut the circle and around the image for an out of the box style. I cut the mat with the 3in template. My dp is some of Hobby Lobby's Season glitter stack I just bought Saturday. I love this stack. I also bought an EK Success, what I thought was a border punch, that turned out to be a strip of hollies and berries as it trims both sides of the paper. Guess I need to read the box better huh? Oh well I used it on this making the black matt wide enough to allow for both sides to be trimmed. I made this for the Guest DT contest 1st week challenge to use one of Maria Neira's image and create a WILDLIFE theme. What could be more wilder than 2 skunks kissing. LOL. Man I hope they like it.

Christmas Cupcake CASEing

This is for today's FEATURED STAMPER - Chrisations.ink. I found this darling SILVER CANDY CUPCAKE.
I changed: the layout, colors, theme, left off the silver embellies.

The stamp set I used is called Christmas Cupcakes and I got it from TREEHOUSE STAMPS. My image was stamped in graphite black on vanilla cs then colored with copics. The icing is heated liquid applique. I used some 1/8 in green ribbon to cover the seam between the red cs and dp. I stamped the holly leaves in versa mark then cut them out. The red berries are from my hole puncher attached together with the holly leaves and attached to the corner of the focal image. I also stamped the holly & berries image in versa mark on the upper and lower right corners of the red cs. Hope you like it.
RECIPE:
Stamps: Christmas Cupcake - THS

Wonderful Winter Polar Bear

Well Jessie and his parents are back in Augusta for his Mom's skin graft tomorrow. I have an empty house. This morning was a frustrating time as I wanted to stamp and the TLC was pointing to a techique video that was not working. ggrrrr. I had seen this video a couple of wks ago and wanted to try it but did not write down the steps. So I was in the dark and could not watch the video until this afternoon. So after work I came home and this is what I came up with. This is for today's TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE - Double Embossing. I used today's sketch from MOJO MONDAY. My stamp is from the dollar bin Snag'Em images from TREEHOUSE STAMPS. My image was stamped in black and colored with copic markers after using the Cuttlebug Snowflake embossing folder and Labels #3 for the double emboss center. This is matted on baja breeze cs. This polar bear is just too adorable. My dp is from My Minds Eye Wonderful Winter. It is so glittery and shiny. My base is kiwi kiss cs.
RECIPE:
Stamps: Polar Bear - Snag'em from Treehouse Stamps
Paper: white, baja breeze, kiwi kiss, MME Wonderful Winter
Ink: black, kiwi kiss
Accessories: 3mm gems, ribbon, stickles
Techniques: double embossing

Fall Studio CASEing Ms.Boo

This is for today's FEATURED STAMPER - Ms.Boo. I love Jen's CAS style and decided on her FALLING LEAVES. I changed the colors, replaced the dotted line with a sentiment, used only 3 leaves which were also from a differnt set, and used a different type of ribbon. My color combo inspiration came from Saturday's INSPIRATION CHALLENGE - Franz Porcelain's using this gorgeous GOLD LEAF AND ACORN DESIGN TRAY. I love the changing colors of fall. The stamp set I used has just been released today from CLEAR AND SIMPLE STAMPS called Fall Studio. I used old olive, crushed curry and dusty durango for my leaes and sentiment attempting to simulate the colors of the changes. Hope you like it.

TEMPLATE: Basket of Thanks

Here is my basket from this darling template. I chose to go alittle riske' and will be giving this to my darling hubby for putting up with my stamping addiction. LOL.

I used white cardstock stamped wtih one of the wheat background stamps in black. I covered the edge of my basket with black ruffled lace. The handle is white cs topped with black then white sheer ribbon. I stamped the tag in black then punched with the large and small tag punches. I punched a slot at the top the thread the ribbon through and adhered the tag to the side of the handle. I sure hope he likes it cause I filled it with choc covered cherrie flavored kisses. YUMMY.
