Tilting Scarlet's Ball Gown

This is for today's TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE # 282 - Tilt. OMGosh Holly, I have been thinking about trying this and this was just the nudge I needed. Being a new technique to me I had to limit my brain to just this one challenge :-(

So anyway I was looking at challenges the other day and found a big problem. I found Digi Doodles store and in it I found the most adorable digital images and you know the rest of the story right? YEP, had to have them. This is just one of the darling images and it is called "GONE WITH THE WIND". Well yall know my husband and I are re-enactors of the civil war period and when we are at a battle and camping we stay in 1860's period style clothing. 9 layers of clothing can get pretty warm let me tell you so I wear my hoop as much as I can bc I use it as a fan. That got my brain thinking on this challenge and this is what I came up with.

I cut just the bottom part of the ball gown out and have it tilting back and forth just like they do when we walk or dance. SO KEWL huh? My image was colored with copics

B32, B34, B37, E50, E51, E53, G24, R14, R30, N1, N3, N5, & N7. I just had to use some new dp I got on an outing with Shannon Sunday from DCWV called "AT HOME". Love this dp stack. I paired the dp up with Not Quite Navy, seamed them with ribbon and topped the ribbon off with a bow. I heated the ends of the ribbon to make them twist. My focal image and matt were cut and embossed with Nesties Oval and Scalloped Oval. Hope you like it. I just know one of the ladies that we hang around in camp is going to love this fun card.

RECIPE:
Stamps: Gone With The Wind - Digi Doodles
Paper: white, not quite navy, DCWV dp
Accessories: copics, dimensionals, pennies, ribbon, Nesties Oval, Nesties Scallop Ovals
Techniques: Tilt Card
