Sweet Talkin' Valentine Card
This is for today's TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE # 570 - Dry Embossing with Stencils, today's CLEAN AND SIMPLE CHALLENGE # 361 - Sweet Treats, and today's MOJO MONDAY SKETCH CHALLENGE # 432. I am backing up a couple of weeks and using COLOR CHALLENGE # 565 - What's black and white and red all over? for my color combo.
I tried embossing with my cuttlebug and almost broke a plate and ruined my embossing folder that had 4 different patterns. I was able to save my heart section so I went to my light box. If a hidden camera was around it would be a riot. I have not used my night light in such a long time. It took me forever to remember what and how to dry emboss then I could not remember where my stylet tool was.
Awe finally it all came together. It was a site only my friends at SCS could appreciate. LOL. Now off to work.
RECIPE:
Stamps: Sweet Talk, All Year Cheer III
Paper: white, real red, black
Ink: Real Red
Accessories: heart stencil

My color combo is from Tuesday's COLOR CHALLENGE # 565 - What's Black and White and Red all over?". How could I resist making a valentine card with these colors in this weeks challenge? I added stickles to the base of the snowbanks and around the snowman for bling. I wrapped the ribbon around the pool party panel and tied a bow on the end. I colored the snowman with copics. Mine was the cording and die cut which I had for a previous challenge but did not like the way it looked so I didn't use it as well as the card. This is also for today's CLEAN AND SIMPLE CHALLENGE # 355 - Trim the Tree. Well the tree is trimmed and the ornaments are hung. It will soon be time to take them all down again but for now this is what I came up with today.
I stamped the greeting on the front in cherry cobbler and I stamped the branches in wild wasabi as well as the sentiment on the inside and envelope. Hope you like it. Come To Bethlehem Feeling the Night Breeze
This is for Tuesday's COLOR CHALLENGE # 560 - Feeling the Night Breeze and gold for dessert. I was not exactly overly thrilled with my card for Tuesday and had this in mind after seeing Maura (aka beesmom)'s gorgeous creation and commenting that I saved it to favs for CASing rights. I CASEd her Silent Night card. I changed the orientation and used a scene rather than trees.
I stamped my image in night of navy then sponged above using a mask to simulate a snowbank, I used a small circle for the moon and sponged some baja breeze around the circle and then inked just the star and stamped it in the clear white area. I added stickles for bling. I dropped down and sponged with some baja breeze using a different mask. I stamped the Merry Christmas sentiment in night of navy on the front and envelope and the other sentiment on the inside in NON.
I stamped the image over the sentiment in baja breeze after stamping off once. I took my daughter's advice and added some dimension to the navy background and I tied some gold cording and matted that on NON then on white cs base. I like this one much better and hope you do to. This is what happens at 1am when I can not sleep. I stamp. LOL.

This is for today's COLOR CHALLENGE # 559 - Honey there's a Rose in our Garden, and Monday's TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE # 562 - Pieced and Cut Words.

I filled in the bells with hello honey and rose red. I stamped the sentiments omitting the M and C which were cut out from Quickutz Ginger alphabet and attached appropriately.

My cute feeding deer is for Monday's CLEAN AND SIMPLE CHALLENGE # 352 - Holiday/Winter Critters. I used the ornament for the circle on the sketch and popped it up. I sponged watermelon wonder and tip top taupe ink on the ornament attached the deer and then added stickles for snowy effect.
I stamped the sentiment on the front in choc chip. The inside and envelope were stamped in watermelon wonder. I hope you like it.

Cute Critters with Winter Wishes
This is for today's COLOR CHALLENGE # 558 - Tip top Chocolate Wonder with a dessert of die cuts/punches. This is also for Monday's TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE # 561 - Box Card and Monday's CLEAN AND SIMPLE CHALLENGE # 352 - Holiday Winter Critters. Now how could I resist using all of these together. I was not sure about the box card, afraid it was far from CAS but was wrong again. It was very quick and simple.
I cute my deer and moose then stamped the coordinating images in choc chip and black. These are popped up on dimensionals.
Now lets go to work.

A Lotus for your Birthday
This is for today's COLOR CHALLENGE # 556 - Tempting Red Petals, for Monday's TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE # 559 - A CASe In Point where I choose today to CASE my ROSE BIRTHDAY CARD and used a technique that I loved called TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE 551 - COLOR BLOCKING WITH CARD STOCK. This is also for Monday's CLEAN AND SIMPLE CHALLENGE # 350 - To Grandma's House we go. I know nothing about my father's mother since I was 3 yrs old when my parents divorced and my mom moved us from Indiana to GA with her mother. She passed away when I was only 4 but I do remember everyone talking about how she could stick her thumb in a pot with dead flowers and bring them back to life so this is in the honor of those memories. I color blocked with primrose petals and real red cs the top layer of the flower and the HB sentiment. I embossed the tempting turquoise panel with Darice Brick Wall embossing folder.
I stamped the sentiments on the inside and envelope in tempting turquoise ink. I hope you like it and off to work I go. Have a blessed day everyone.
RECIPE:
Stamps: Birthday Greetings - Joanne's
Paper: white, tempting turquoise, Real red, primrose petals, wild wasabi
Ink: Tempting turquoise
Accessories: Lotus Blossom die, HB die, Cuttlebug, Brick Wall EF
Techniques: 3D, color blocking with card stock, CAS, dry embossing
