CC203, MOJO#71 Joy Ride Percy

Happy Tuesday everyone. Today is a good day. Shannon is on her way over for us to play a little before I have to go to work this evening. YEAH. I have been missing getting with her to stamp. Much needed therapy. But I decided to go ahead and do today's COLOR CHALLENGE - Breezy Pacific Gardens while I waited. I used the Monday's MOJO CHALLENGE # 71 SKETCH for my layout. I found that challenge on a kewl blog listing all the challenges in one place called THE DAILY DARE. I found some matching dp from one of my 4 stacks of MME and sponged the edges with garden green. My image is called Joy Ride Percy and he along with others like him as well as the sentiment from "All About Birthdays" can be found at H & M STAMP COMPANY. I colored my image with my prismacolor pencils then blended w/gamsol blending medium. I used a ruler to make straight lines for the highway and colored it with copic marker then drew the center line with my white jel pen. I sponged the clouds with baja breeze and the grass line with garden green then drew some spriges of grass. I used some baja breeze ribbon. Stamped the Sentiment in pacific point and punched it and the matt with my oval punch. The main image and sentiment are popped up. Hope you like it.
