Busy Morning Before Work

Well I have to work 11am-7pm in ICU today so I stayed in this morning to play some. TeeHee I had this card loaded bc the WT challenge had not yet been loaded and as soon as I uploaded the challenge was on and you guessed it, I had done the challenge so I had to edit my post to include it. YeePee. I love it when that happens. This is for today's WAYS TO USE IT CHALLENGE. I used my SU color wheel given to me by my darling daughter (e3stamper) aka Shannon for my color combo. This is also for today's MY FAVORITE THINGS SKETCH CHALLENGE. I used some really kewl colors Real red, old olive and creamy caramel. My image is inked with markers then huffed to stamp. I colored in the image with prismacolor pencils then blended w/gamsol. Have I mentioned how much I love coloring the Gamsol Magic way? LOL. Well I do. These adorable images and sentiment are part of a recently released set from TREEHOUSE STAMP COMPANY called Angel Wings. The creamy caramel cs layer is stamped with the heart image from sprinkles mini backgrounds from SU in real red. I trimmed the image for an out-of-the-box effect. The wings are covered with stickles. I stamped the solid heart in real red, cut it out, and popped it up in the left upper corner. The sentiment was stamped in creamy caramel, punched with word window punch and popped up.
RECIPE:
Stamps: Sprinkles - SU, Angel Wings - Treehouse Stamp Co
Paper: creamy caramel, real red pp, old olive, white
Ink: black, creamy caramel, real red
Accessories: stickles, dimensionals, Word Window Punch
Techniques: Gamsol Magic, 3D, Out of the Box
.
Then after I had finished my card I was determined to tackle the TLC from Monday. This is for Monday's TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE - Origami Box. It took me a few attempts but I think I finally got it right. Whey, not an easy task for me but here it is anyway. I have never folded 1 sheet of cs so many differeny ways and times in my life. LOL. I used some dark navy cs for the box and some MME dp for the cover. On my cover is a sentiment and image from TREEHOUSE STAMP COMPANY called Angel Wings. I stamped off on the angel image before stamping on the white layer. The heart in the bottom left corner is a MS heart punch. I ran the sheer shimmery white ribbon under the box and made a slit in the top part of the cover to run it through and under my image panel then tied in the center of the box. I filled the inside with some valentine choc mix and will give this to a co-worker who is sure Choc is one of the main food groups. LOL.
RECIPE:
Stamps: Angel Wings - Treehouse Stamp Company
Paper: navy, MME dp
Ink: rose red, not quite navy
Accessories: ribbon
Techniques: origami box
Difficulty (1-Easy 5-Advanced): 4
Now I am off to work. Hope it is a nice quiet evening.
