Sympathetic Close as a Memory

This is for today's TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE # 296 - Stamping with Water.
My color combo is today's CLEAN AND SIMPLE CHALLENGE # 92 - Color (Pink, Old Olive, Kraft, White with optional Marina Mist). I sponged pretty in pink, marina mist and old olive blending them then stamped the image with water. After it dryed I inked the image again with matching markers then huffed and stamped off to the side a bit. The sentiment was inked with soft suede stamped off then stamped under the image. It really is not as dark IRL as it appears in this pic. ggrrr. I distressed the edges with soft suede ink pad then pinked just the edges of '"Crosshatch" background in soft suede and stamped over the entire panel lightly after stamping off. I sprayed a thin mist of glitter spray over the image and let it dry. I made a sympathy note card to go with a flower arrangement for a grieving family. I will punch a hole and run some ribbon when I get the flowers. This sympathy card is also for last Monday's CLEAN AND SIMPLE CHALLENGE # 91 - Sympathy. Seems like I am using these up as soon as I make them lately. I am really proud of myself as I have been trying really hard to complete my cards inside and out lately. I get so caught up with just trying to finish the outside and then when I need it I have a hard time finishing it on the inside.
RECIPE:
Stamps: Close As A Memory, Crosshatch - SU
Paper: white, kraft
Ink: pretty in pink, soft suede, marina mist, old olive
Accessories: glitter spray
Techniques: Stamping with water, stamping off, huffing

Hi,
I"ve searched all over for inspiration to make a card for a friend whose nephew died just days before Thanksgiving. It was unexpected and very tragic. I hope you won't mind I"m going to use your card as my guide as it touched my heart.
Thank you in advance.
