Matey's Hinged Pirate Birthday Carrrrd

This is for today's TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE - Hinged Card. Lynn you are sooo right, I will be making more of these. I love this TLC. I started out trying for a western card and ended up going to sea with my High Hopes Pirate collection. I used Outlaw dp and coordinating cs. I stamped the ships wheel in sadle brown ink, colored with copics then cut it out and popped it up. The large brown brad is going through it and the cs for my hinge. The Treasure Chest is also stamped in sadle brown and colored with copics. Then I used some gold glitter glue and white pearl drops to accent the treasure pieces. My border punch is Fiskars Rope design. This is matted and popped up. I stamped Stampin' Ups Matey's Map on the sage shadow top portion. I am lovin' this card and can't wait to give it to someone. Here is a pic of this closed. So glad you hopped over here. Leave some evidence if you wish. I thrive on suggestions and comments. Have a grrrreat Memorial Day. Hay this can be for all the sailors out there! Watch out for those pirates though they can be cruel sometime.
