Hinged Father's Seaside Day

This is for today's COLOR CHALLENGE - So Bashful Pumpkins. Monday's TECHNQIUE LOVERS CHALLENGE - Hinged Cards was such a fun one I knew another was in the works. For my layout I used Monday's MOJO CHALLENGE # 88. I also sponged the clouds for today's FLOURISHES TIMELESS TUESDAY CHALLENGE - Sponging. One day I have got to order some Flourishes sets but for now I used Seaside Sketches for my focal image, I stamped the image in black brilliance then colored with copics (see pic on my blog for markers used). I sponged bashful blue clouds using an oval scallop punch mask then just a dab of so saffron for some sunshine which we have not see much of lately around here. I used bashful blue matted with bashful blue pattern paper. I stamped the cheesecloth background image with so saffron on so saffron and bottom portion is pumpkin pie pattern paper with pumpkin pie under it punched with a Martha Stewart border punch. The inside is stamped with the sentiment from Thinking of Father set. I just love these hinged cards.
RECIPE:
Stamps: Seaside Sketches, Thinking of Father, Cheesecloth
Paper: White, pumpkin pie CS & PP, Bashful Blue CS & PP, so saffron
Ink: so saffron, bashful blue, black brilliance
Accessories: brad, circle and circle scallops Nestie, MS border punch
Techniques: Hinged Card

Neva, that image is one of my very favs! It never goes out of style. I envy you with the hinged cards. I wasn't brave enough to try one. Was it very difficult?
