Oliver 's Simple Sketch 1st Sneak Peak

I am just so excited I can hardly hold it in. Last week Ashley from Treehouse Stamp Company contacted ME to ask if I would like to be a Guest Design Team Member. Well I thought really hard for at least 1 minute after I started back breathing before I hastily replied to her email. 'YEH!!! So here is my very 1st Sneak Peak of "Oliver the Owl" and "What a hoot sentiment" soon to be released by TREEHOUSE STAMPS. Hope you like it. Oliver was stamped in black stazon then watercolored using Apricot Appeal, Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive and a hint of brown. I sponge distressed the edge of the oval with soft sky then matted on soft sky. The ovals were cut with my Fiskars oval template. I matted apricot appeal pattern paper on apricot appeal cs. The card base is pumpkin pie stamped with Crosshatch using pumpkin pie. Hope you like it. I had a blast making it. Thanks so much to Ashley for this wonderful opportunity to expand my stamping abilities or at least learn something from them. LOL. I took the picture with my card upside down so the eyes looked like they were rolled upward but the picture just does not do Oliver justice as the color is not captured well. He is really cute IRL.
