H & M Stamp Co Sketch Challenge

Good morning all, I am away at a Stamp Retreat and I am sure I am having a ball but I wanted to post this wonderful sketch challenge I found on Heather Rolin's Blog. She is the owner of H&M Stamp Company and she presents a new sketch every Saturday. Click on over there and check it out, then join in on the fun. This HMSC3 and I love it as much as the 1st two she has presented. I wanted to use Dad's Cabin set so I had to make it masculine. How do you make a masculine scallop card? LOL. Anway this is what I came up with. I stamped the mesh background on vanilla using wild wasabi and matted on choc chip. Then I attempted to punch the green cs using my new Fiskars scallop with holes border punch. This was not an easy task to work around those 2 corners but I do not have the nestabilities YET. Thank you Heather for the nudge to place my order. The vanilla panel on my focal images is sponged with wasabi. The images are stamped in wasabi, close to cocoa, and real red. the lure is coloring with real red prisma then blended w/gamsol then I used my white jel pen to color the bottom section. We have some red and white lures we often use like this. The rod and net handles colored with CTC pencil and the reel and rim of the net colored with a silver marker. All 3 images are popped up on dimensionals. The Choc chip strip across is layered with green ribbon and the circle image is Circle of Friendship in real red punched out and matted on red then green SU scallop punch, then popped up on dimensionals. I will give this to, you guessed it DH for his birthday in August. I think he will love it.
RECIPE:
Stamps: Dad's Cabin (H&M Stamps), Circle of Friendship (SU)
Inks: Wild Wasabi, Real red
Paper: non SU green, vanilla, choc chip
Accessories: Dimensionals, ribbon, markes, scallop border punch with holes, SU Scallop Punch, Circle punches.
