Friends Are Like So Many Sayings

I am so excited I can hardly stand it. There are only 5 days left before we leave for my very 1st weekend Stamp Camp. I have gone to 1 Shoe Box Swap that lasted all day but never for an entire weekend. Faith (aka:Markies Mom on SCS) invited me and my DD Shannon (aka:e3stamper) many months ago and the anticipation is just overwhelming. I can hardly wait. I work in an office by myself and unless the phone rings or I have to go to one of the nursing areas or a meeting my contact with human life form is minimal to say the least so to spend an entire weekend with 20+ other stampers is just unimaginable. I will be MIA for Saturday & Sundays challenges but will play catch up when I return. I may try to see if I can combine the 2 challenges if possible. I will try but it may be hard for me! ;) OK onto today's project.
This is for today's FEATURED STAMPER - {TENEALE} and I chose her LONG TIME FRIEND card to CASE. I changed the colors to use this weeks COLOR CHALLENGE - Purely Wild Celery. I kept the layout but switched it around just a bit. I love this pattern in the Wild Wasabi pallet of print pack and just did not want a small piece or to cover it up too much. I applied stickles to the inside section of the flowers in the print then matted it on purely pomegrante. I also changed the image using Friends are Like Flowers since I do not have the one she used. Image was stamped in black stazon and colored with prismacolor pencils then blended with gamsol. I applied stickles and tine diamond gems. I also used my new cool grey Copic marker to do some shading. This is matted on pomegrante then wild wasabi. The sentiment is stamped in pomegrante on the certainly celery card base.I tied pomegrante double stitch ribbon and certainly celery grosgrain together.

RECIPE:
Stamps: Friends are Like Flowers, So Many Sayings
Paper: wild wasabi, wild wasabi pattern print, white, purely pomegrante
Ink: black stazon, purely pomegrante
Accessories: Prismacolor pencils, blending medium, blending stumps, stickles, diamond gems, ribbon
Techniques: Gamsol magic
