FREE 4 ALL CHALLENGE # 288 - Add Something gold, Thursday's WAYS TO USE IT CHALLENGE # 546 - Make it Metal, Wednesday's SKETCH CHALLENGE # 555, Tuesday's COLOR CHALLENGE # 545 - Metallic Gold meets Very Vanilla, and Monday's CLEAN AND SIMPLE CHALLENGE # 339 - Tag It. We have a couple of co-workers getting married soon and so today I made another wedding card. I used my Argyle embossing folder today and created some tags and colored them gold with my metal gold paint pen. I stamped one with a sentiment from All Holidays and the other I added a gold vintage shoe. These are both popped up on dimensionals. I had to free hand my sentiment on the front. I have seen something similar in a sentiment but not sure who made it.
I used the same sentiment today on the inside and stamped the envelope with the same ink color. Hope you like it.

Golden congratulations on your special day
This is for today's WAYS TO USE IT CHALLENGE # 546 - Make It Metal and Wednesday's SKETCH CHALLENGE # 555. I was at work when the SC was finally loaded so I didn't get to play but I knew exactly what I wanted to do as soon as I saw it. This card has been in my head since then and today it came to life. I dry embossed the top panel of vanilla with Textile EF, the bottom panel was stamped in versamark then metallic gold EP applied and heat embossed. The inside was stamped in delightful Dijon. The vanilla card base was matted with metallic gold dp. I found some gold wedding rings and tied them together with some gold ribbon.
The inside sentiment from Trust God was stamped using delightful dijon. The bride and groom on the envelope were cut from the gold dp. I LOVE how this turned out and hope you do too.

She LOVES monkeys and so I ran with that as my inspiration after finding the
jungle dp hidden in my storage drawer. I did a computer generated sentiment in
as close to the color as possible then punched it out with Marvy Oval and
layered with Bermuda bay Marvy oval. I stamped the sentiment on the inside of

Delight in Life even when it rains
This is for today's COLOR CHALLENGE # 543 - No Gray Days in Lucky Bermuda, Monday's TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE # 546 - Mind the Gap and Monday's CLEAN AND SIMPLE CHALLENGE # 337 - Waves of Color. You know how when you see a challenge you know exactly what you want to make but can not find a stamp set that matches what is in your head??? GGGRR that was me this morning. I wanted the outside to be rainy and the inside cheerful reflecting that rough times will pass and the God's glory will shine again so I will have to just write what I want for the inside. I used spellbinders umbrella and impression obsessions clouds, sponged some basic gray on the sky and the clouds then Bermuda bay, so saffron on the inside for still some signs of cloudy skies but the sun shining and clearing up.
I used a fiskars tree line border punch on inside and out and for the top panel on the front I free handed the skyline. I stamped the sentiment in Bermuda bay on the front, inside and envelope. I hope you like it and I hope whomever I give this too is encouraged that God is still large and in charge and taking care of us.

Wavey Anchors at the Beach with Bear
This is for today's TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE # 546 - Mind the Gap and Monday's CLEAN AND SIMPLE CHALLENG E# 336 - Waves of Color. Since blue is my favorite color and the beach is my favorite place to be, well, need I say more. LOL. I used 3 different shades of blue for the umbrella top and 2 for the water. The envelope is stamped with the same sentiment as the top front. My dh is always whining about wanting to bring his mutt to the beach when we go so I am going to give this to him and tell me next time to bring this card and pretend "Bear" is with him. Hope he likes it and hope you do too.

All Sprinkled Holiday with Every Blessing Flap Fold Christmas Card
This is for today's TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE # 545 - Fussy Cutting and today's CLEAN AND SIMPLE CHALLENGE # 336 - Under the Stars. Today I officially start my new position and as you can see it is allowing me to stamp in the mornings again. I am so thankful for my quite time in my cave. Anyway I have been wanting to try this flap fold card I have been seeing on the home page and thought it would be a TLC but today I just had to try it. I stamped the stars background from spingkles in versa mark then applied white detail embossing powder and heat set it. I love the look of white against a dark blue.
RECIPE:
I did make a slight change as I adhered my sentiment layer on the inside so when the card is opened you see the entire sentiment. Best of both views. I envy those of you who can stamp a silhouette image and get it to turn out. I always have to fill in with my copics. ggrrrr, not sure what I am doing wrong. I stamped everything else in night of navy. I had to finish my circle by fussing cutting it and fussy cut the star image for my flap holder. I think this is my 2nd Christmas card so far but I like how it turned out and hope you do too. Any tips on how to make the silhouette images come out better would be appreciated too.
