Pretty Amazing Petal Spotlight

This is for today's SKETCH, Tuesday's COLOR, and Monday's TECHNIQUE LOVERS - Stacked Ribbon CHALLENGES. Panel 1 is my newly received Pretty petals background stamped in basic black on white CS. Then I inked it again using my SU Markers, huffed, stamped, and punch using the Mega Scallop Oval punch. I layered that on black Giga Scallop Oval to create the Spotlight effect. I applied stickles to one of the flowers. The hummingbird was stamped in black stazon then colored w/markers (should have used my prismacolor pencils instead but not alot of time this morning), popped up and the tip of his nose glued to the flower. I layered red on green on blue ribbon and attached the sentiment stamped in Night of Navy. Not sure I am happy with this one but here it is anyway.
RECIPE:
Stamps:
Pretty Petals, Pretty Amazing
Paper: Non Su White, blue, Red, Green
Ink: Black stazon, Night of Navy, Real Red, Glorious Green
Accessories: Ribbon in red, green, & blue, Ranger StarDust Stickles
Techniques: Spotlighting, Huffing

I really like this....how your background is uncoloured and the oval brightens up...that hummingbird is great too. Another good job with the colour challenge. Joan
