This is for today's TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE # 314 - Handmade Tickets:
Today's CLEAN AND SIMPLE CHALLENGE # 108 - The Great Outdoors. Well when I think of outdoors I remember the beautiful flowers my aunt and uncle had in their yard. They are both gone now and I pass the house they lived in for 40yrs often with a great sadness as it is grown over with weeds and junk so I turn my thoughts back onto my memories of how gorgeous the hydrangea bushes were. That is why I love this stamp set so much.
I had to work Sunday but did have time to CASE Corrie but I really wanted to do her gallery as much justice as possible so I did another of Sunday's FEATURED STAMPER # 212 - Corrie Foster by CASEing her CELEBRATION card this time. I changed the layout, colors and ribbon placement.
I inked my image with my stampin up markers of rose red and always artichoke, then huffed and stamped. I sponged some going gray to match the dp and tone down the white.
My color combo is from last Tuesday's COLOR CHALLENGE # 311 - Always Perfect Roses. I stamped the sentiment in perfect plum then sponged some going gray. I used my ticket corner punch on the focal image and sentiment.
Now off to work again. I will be doing 6 days this week since I got called in Sunday so by Friday my behind WILL be dragging.
RECIPE:
Stamps: Because I Care
Paper: always artichoke, perfect plum, rose red
Ink: white, basic gray, rose red, perfect plum
Accessories: ticket corner punch, gems, SU Markers, ribbon
Techniques: huffing, sponge distressing, ticket

A CASE of Easter Lilies
This is for today's FEATURED STAMPER # 212 - CorieFoster who has a lovely gallery.
I decided to CASE her THYMES & QFTD03 Card. I kept the layout but changed the embossing folder to Victorian, colors to Daffodil Delight and the image to an Easter Lily. I also used yellow ribbon instead of white.
My image is from MARKS FINEST PAPERS called "He Is The Lamb" and was stamped in Momento Tuxedo Black then colored with copics Y00, Y02, Y04, Y08, YG93 and YG95. After coloring I cut the image out and popped it up on the white oval matted on Daffodil scalloped oval both where cut then embossed.
I love how this turned out and hope you do too. Now I should be relaxing today to get ready for another stressful work week but I am off to work in ICU again.
Have a beautiful Sunday everyone else.
RECIPE:
Stamps: He Is The Lamb - MFP
Paper: white, daffodil delight
Ink: momento tuxedo black
Accessories: copics, Cuttlebug, Nesties Ovals, Nesties Scallop Ovals, stickles
Techniques: dry emboss, 3D, copic coloring

Brick Wall
This is for today's SKETCH CHALLENGE # 321. I used a set from MARKS FINEST PAPERS called "BRICK WALL" which is exactly what I have hit lately in trying to accomplish my goals.
I did not like what I started or even ended up with for Tuesday's COLOR CHALLENGE # 311 - Always Perfect Roses so I did a "do over" AGAIN. LOL. Maybe one day I will get it right.
Rose red pattern paper and perfect plum cs on a white base. I stamped the brick image in tuxedo black then the flower image in always artichoke and colored the flowers with copics. I cut the 4 squares 1 1/8 inch matted on rose red then on always artichoke after distressing the edges. I stamped the sentiment in tuxedo.
NOW I like how this turned out much better. I hate waste and I was so ready to file this in the trash.
RECIPE:
Stamps: Brick Wall - MFP
Paper: white, perfect plum, always artichoke, rose red, rose red pp
Ink: momento tuxedo black, always artichoke
Accessories: copics, gems, ribbon, edge distresser, stickles
Techniques: edge distressing, copic coloring

A Flower For A Friend
This is for today's COLOR CHALLENGE # 311 - Always Perfect Roses. This was a hard color combo for me and I started this card at 6am, refused to upload and had to get to work at 7am so when I got home I did some alterations and while I am still NOT thrilled with it I do like it much better than it started out.
My layout is from today's TUESDAY MORNING SKETCHES # 82.
I love the layout just not really thrilled with MY end results. I colored the primas with my SU Markers after my copics just did not match the colors I was going for. My rose red flower turned out looking almost red/orange in my photo, YUK.
The SU Markers do not color as well but at least the colors are closer. I punched some leafs in always artichoke.
I colored some white satin ribbon to match rose red and had some green that was a close match to artichoke and tied the 2 on some perfect plum cs then added some tiny gems,
RECIPE:
Paper: White, rose red pattern paper, perfect plum, always artichoke
Ink: rose red, perfect plum, always artichoke
Accessories: gems, ribbon, leaf punch, primas

Sew What's New?
This is for today's TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE # 313 - Bargello Design and last Thursday's WAYS TO USE IT CHALLENGE # 311 - Stunning Silhouettes.
OK so I am not sure if this is right or not but it is what it is. My head is still so full of cold medicine that my "out of body experience" lingeres on and today is the 1st in many that I felt like making it upstairs to make something.
I found this Cosmo Cricket "Material Girl" dp that had 3/4 inch strips of designs and I cut it in 3/4 inch stripes then matted on vanilla. My focal image is from MARKS FINEST PAPERS called "Sew What?" and was stamped in momento tuxedo black.
My sentiment is stamped in baja breeze.
Because I owe, it's off to work I go, otherwise I would probably be back in the bed again today.
RECIPE:
Stamps: Sew What - MFP
Paper: vanilla, black, cosmo cricket Material Girl
Ink: momento tuxedo black, baja breeze
Techniques: bargello design

The Nicest Things
This is for today's SKETCH CHALLENGE # 320. I used the color combo from Tuesday's COLOR CHALLENGE # 310 - Wild Saffron Points.
I used a stampin' up stamp set called The Nicest Thing. I love these hugging little girls bc they remind me of my 2 girls when they were little. I used to "pray" they would love each other and not fight. Well you do not that all prayers get answered but not always they way you requested right? LOL. Just kidding they did have their fights but overall they get along and love each very much even now as adults.
My image was stamped in momento tuxedo black then colored with copics and matted on pacific point then wild wasabi. I added a small piece of wasabi at the bottom after trimming with my MS shearing scissors.
My base dp is so saffron pattern paper and I can not remember who made the green dp. The middle panel was stamped in pacific point and matted on PP cs.
RECIPE:
Stamps: The Nicest Things - SU
Paper: whtie, so saffron, so saffron pp, pacific point, wild wasabi
Ink: momento tuxedo black, pacific point
Accessories: copics, daisy brad, prima,
Techniques: copic coloring, out of the box

Greetings with Gerbers
This is for today's COLOR CHALLENGE # 310 - Wild Saffron Points. I loved the sketch from Monday's CLEAN AND SIMPLE CHALLENGE # 106 - Sketch Inspired by NancyK so I played along with it again.
My stamp set is called "Greet The Day With Gerbers" and it is from MARKS FINEST PAPERS.
I stamped the image in momento black on white cs then colored with copics after a failed attempt on watercolor paper and watercoloring. It went into file #13. I sponged around the edges with pacific point then popped it up on so saffron matt that was cut then embossed using Nesties Square Scallops. I used my copic marker to color my ribbon the right color. The dp is some I just got Saturday from Michaels called "It's My Party". Love that glitter dp. I added stickles to my image as well.
Now off to work I go.
RECIPE:
Stamps: Greet The Day With Gerbers - MFP
Paper: white, so saffron, It's My Party dp
Ink: momento tuxedo black
Accessories: stickles, ribbon, copics, Nesties, fiskars sunburst border punch
Techniques: sponge distressing, 3D

Sketch Inspired Yellow Roses
This is for today's CLEAN AND SIMPLE CHALLENGE # 106 - Sketch Inspired by NancyK. I kept the scallop edge for the bottom and for the matt of the focal point but changed from a square to a heart shape. I love my heart shaped Nesties and just do not get to use them as much as I would like and what better day to use them than today?
I used daffodile delight for the scalloped heart matt. I used my Martha Stewart heart scalloped border punch for the edge.
I found these darling rosettes from Recollections Saturday and had to fill the heart with them since yellow roses are my all time fav. I like red but I LOVE yellow ones.
Now off to work
RECIPE:
Paper: white, daffodil delight
Accessories: Recollections Rosettes, Nesties Hearts, Nesties Scallop Hearts, Martha Stewart Scalloped Heart Border Punch, dimensionals

Ok so for these fun projects that I have made to give to my darling hubby I started with an emptied Velveta box and an empty percussion cap box. I covered them both with vanilla cs then leopard print dp. My images were stamped on vanilla and I used some copics to add some color to the eyes and other places. I also had found this ribbon at Wal-Mart and could not wait to use it. Here is the altered velveta box

This is for today's FEATURED STAMPER # 209 - 3bugs&me. Lori's gallery is full of inspiration but I settled on the colors in this gorgeous BIRTHDAY CARD. I used different images and layout and changed the brown to black. I tied a knot in my ribbon and kept the hemp through the button. I used the light teal for shadowing.
My layout is from Wednesday's SKETCH CHALLENGE # 318.
My image is from MARKS FINEST PAPERS "BIG CATS" set that will be released Tuesday. My dp is from DCWV and it started out as black and white just like my ribbon, I used my copic YR31 to add some color. My image was stamped in Momento tuxedo black then colored with copics as well. I used some crystal effects on the eyes.
I love how this turned out. I like the whimsical images but really LOVE the real life so much better so this set was right up my alley.
RECIPE:
Stamps: Big Cats - MFP
Paper: white, black, DCWV dp
Ink: momento tuxedo black
Accessories: ribbon, hemp, button, Nesties, copics, Crystal Effects, dimensionals

Daisy Inspired Gerber Sneak Peek
This is for today's INSPIRATION CHALLENGE # 270 - Uncommon Goods. I found my inspiration from these STICK IN THE MUD DAISIES.
I used Wednesday's SKETCH CHALLENGE # 318 for my layout. I found this dp years ago and can not find it again. I will be so sad when it is gone.
My image and sentiment are from a soon to be released set from MARKS FINEST PAPER called "Greet The Day With Gerbers". I stamped the flower after inking with Summer Sun and Certainly Celery SU Markers then huffing and stamping. I added some color to the daisy with a copic marker then matted the white panel on certainly celery and popped it up. The ribbon is certainly celery from Stampin Up. My card base is so saffron.
Got a date with my very best friend today. Hope everyone has a fabulous day.

Greeting Card Kids with a Heart
This is for today's WAYS TO USE IT CHALLENGE # 308 - Hearts.
My layout is from Wednesday's SKETCH CHALLENGE # 318.
I used my Cuttlebug Hearts Embossing Folder on white cs after cutting the lower right corner using Nesties Label 4 (3rd die). I cut another of Nestie lable 4 (2nd die) in white as well to go inside the open space. I used riding hood red cs as panel 2 so that the red would show in the open space where I cut my Nestie then I stamped this darling precious image in momento black, colored with copics, cut it out and popped it up on the smaller Nestie and covered the heart with Stickles.
I am lovin' how this turned out.
I hope everyone has a fabulous day. Off to work I go.
RECIPE:
Stamps: Greeting Card Kids
Paper: white, riding hood red
Ink: momento tuxedo black
Accessories: Nesties Label 4, Cuttlebug, Hearts, Stickles

Best Wishes
This is for today's COLOR CHALLENGE # 308 - River Gray Whispers. I had such a difficult time trying to decide what to make using these colors together that the colors and a sketch I found over at CARD POSITIONING SYSTEMS SKETCH # 203 was all my little tired brain could handle this morning.
I ran some white cs through the cuttlebug using Birds and Swirls embossing folder then brushed the raised sections with my river rock ink pad to add some color.
The sentiment was stamped in versa mark on basic gray then heat embossed using Ranger White ep.
My base is river rock.
Now off to another day of work so my little brain can hurt some more. Can you get workers comp for brain injuries suffered while trying to figure out a new program in your facility? I may have to look into that. I might could get a medical dissability after this is over. LOL.
RECIPE:
Stamps: Best Wishes - Hambo
Paper: white, river rock, basic gray
Ink: river rock, versamark
Accessories: white embossing powders, Cuttlebug, Birds and Swirls, buttons,
Techniques: heat emboss, dry emboss
