This is for Tuesday's COLOR CHALLENGE # 541 - Roses and Mints are a tip top treat. I saw the new KITE CARD TECHNIQUE and just had to try it since the WT Challenge was not loaded yet and I have to be at work soon. I found some perfect DP from Colorbox Beach House 2 sided dp. I cut the white cs with the smallest Label 1 Nestability set and then traced around the edges on tip top taupe and rose red CS for a mat then fussy cut them.
I stamped the sentiments in mint macaron ink. I turned the labels long way to fit on the Kite shape. This was such a fun and easy card to make. I almost hate to give it way. LOL
RECIPE:
Stamps: Trust God
Paper: white, mint macaron, rose red, tip top taupe
Ink: Mint Macaron
Accessories: flowers, labels 1, ribbon
Techniques: Kite Card

A Ghostly Birthday Card for my darling Hubby
This is for today's COLOR CHALLENGE # 540 - Tempting Smoky Curry with Birthday for dessert, Monday's TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE # 543 - Can you Resist? where I attempted Ghosting twice and finally gave up with what I had, Monday's CLEAN AND SIMPLE CHALLENGE # 334 - Summer Treats, we seem to eat a lot of birthday cake during summer months and the blowfish is usually what we catch when we go fishing because it is too dang hot for the trout or redfish to bite, LOL. My layout is from Monday's MOJO MONDAY SKETCH CHALLENGE # 407. This has been a fun sketch to play with. I made this for my dh for his birthday next month. He gets so mad when he pulls one of these guys in. My darling daughter (e3stamper) Shannon stamped me some images from her last purchase and I just had to color them up with copics. I cut the fish and the cake out and punched the sentiment with a circle punch. Needless to say my Ghosting needs more work as it did not do like I expected and this is the 3rd attempt for this card. I finally said, it is what it is.
I had made a stamp image from a die cut years ago and I used it on the inside of the card stamped in crushed curry after stamping first on the envelope and the sentiment from a Birthday quote set in temping turquoise. Hope you like it.
RECIPE:
Stamps: SU Small Sayings, AI Deep Breath, home made balloon
Paper: white, glossy cs, temping turquoise, crushed curry,
Ink: Momento Tuxedo Black, versamark, Tempting Turquoise, Crushed Curry
Accessories: dimensionals, Tim Holtz Rays embossing folder, balloon image made from die cut

Embrace Life All Wrapped Up with Blessings from Heaven
This is for today's COLOR CHALLENGE # 538 - Island Melon Sand - dessert - Stripes and Monday's CLEAN AND SIMPLE CHALLENGE # 332 - Mason Jar. I stamped my jar then the flowers on the right and left then used mask to stamp the one in the middle. I colored the flowers, stems, and jar with copics and then cut the images out. I embossed the marina mist panel with Candy Cane Stripes EF and used white card base. I stamped the sentiment in marina mist and matted on melon mambo after punching with oval punches.
On the inside I stamped the sentiment in marina mist and the flower in melon mambo after stamping off once. I wish the thumbnail on collages showed full size like single photos do. Once you click on the thumbnail the view is much better. I love showing the inside as a reminder to myself that I am keeping with my goal. Oh well. Hope you like it as much as I do.
