Fruit Salad Recipe

This is for today's FREE 4 ALL CHALLENGE # 145 - Fruits & Veggies. My layout is from Wednesday's SKETCH CHALLENGE # 413. My color combo is from Tuesday's COLOR CHALLENGE # 403 - A Real Gray Gumball.
I used a long ago retired set I picked up from a fellow stamper called "What's For Dinner" and stamped the recipe card in real red and the label in gumball green. I made a pocket from panel 2 using some DCWV dp from Grade School stack to slide the recipe in. I cut, embossed and stenciled some fruit using real red and gumball green cs from Nesties Assorted Fresh Fruit dies then arranged them on the white panel after doodling around the edge. This panel is popped up on the dp so the recipe card will slide out. I used some gray ribbon and viola, I was done.
Hope you like it.

Paper: white, real red, gumball green
Ink: real red, gumball green
Accessories: dimensionals, Nestabilities - Assortted Fresh Fruit, ribbon

Blessings

This is for today's COLOR CHALLENGE # 400 - Retro where we were to pick from 1 of 3 color combos hosted by our loving Betty who is retiring from the CC host list. We surely will miss her. I had the honor and pleasure of guest hosting in January so I choose COLOR CHALLENGE # 356 - Lucky Island Basics for my pick for today. I love these colors together and had such a fun time with them.
My layout is from Saturday's WALTZINGMOUSE SKETCH CHALLENGE # 122.
My island indigo and lucky limeade layers where trimmed with scalloped borders and layered for Monday's TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE # 402 - Layered Scallops. I also used a scallop matt for my focal image which by the way is new to me from Verve Stamps. I rarely win anything, think I could count on 1 hand the number of times but guess who was one of the lucky winners in last months MOJO? Yep, me and this set was my winning pick. I have played the MOJO Monday challenge for years. I guess perserverance really does pay off huh?
My sentiment is stamped in basic black on white, cut and embossed with Nestie oval and matted on basic gray Nestie scalloped oval.
Hope you like it and now I am headed to the line to vote since my plans for the last week got waylayed to do early voting.

Thank You Perfectly Penned

This is for today's TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE # 402 - Layered Scallops. I used 2 different fiskars scallopped border punches and 2 different colors of card stock.
My color combo is for today's CLEAN AND SIMPLE CHALLENGE # 195 - Pinterest Inspiration photo.
My layout is from Friday's CLEAN & SIMPLE SKETCH CHALLENGE # 215. I started with a white cs base then added the 2 layers of scalloped borders.
I cut and embossed the 4 different leaves from 4 different colors of cs and arranged them the way I wanted them then stamped the sentiment in dusty durango and viola I was done.
OK so if you read my last upload, which was Wed by the way, you would remember what an ordeal I had with that creation. NOT this one. Went together like peanut butter and jelly. LOL.
HOWEVER, the dilema with my creation was NOT by a long shot the end of the trials for us that day. My MIL had 2 really hard BAD seizures around 3pm and FIL called the EMS to pick her up. She spent 2 days in ICU then Friday around 10am she started repeating everything she said 4-5 times and not able to walk, at 1pm we were in another hospital in another ICU where she has been since. Things have gotten better in some ways and we are HOPEFUL she can come home today.
I broke away to go to Sunday school only to find out that my daughter had her son in the ER for Asthma/Bronchitis. **man, can we get a break? ** At least they let him go back home after some steroids and resp treatments.
I am soooo ready for things to melow back out.
