All Year Cheer with Sweet Talk

This is for today's TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE # 622 - Z Box Fold and last Tuesday's COLOR CHALLENGE # 618 - A Very Basic Rose.  I loved last weeks colors but just could get inspired.  My MOJO gone bye bye lately but today a glimmer of hope arose and went to the Cave, LOL.  I used basic grey as my base layered with rose red and then vanilla card stock.  I stamped the hearts along the bottom in rose red then the sentiments in basic grey.  The sentiment on the inside is from All Year Cheer III and is stamped in rose red.  I cut out a heart from the vanilla layer then a smaller heart from that layer and popped the smallest one up on dimensionals.  I hope you like this fun yet simple valentine creation.
RECIPE:
Stamps:  All Year Cheer, Sweet Talk
Paper: vanilla, rose red, basic gray
Ink: rose red, basic grey
Accessories: Dimensionals, heart punches
Technique: 3D, Z Box Fold

Finally made it upstairs and this was the end result. I had to use regal rose substitute since I have decided I have more CS than I could ever use and am running out of storage space I opted out of this years in-colors and got as close as I could to sweet sugarplum.

This is for today's COLOR CHALLENGE # 579 - I Lost my Honey in a Gray Lagoon, Monday's CLEAN AND SIMPLE CHALLENGE # 373 - It's About Birthdays and Monday's MOJO MONDAY SKETCH CHALLENGE # 444.
My darling hubby will be celebrating a birthday in August and as I put this together it just screamed for him so I went on and wrote his name on the envelope so I wouldn't change my mind later. LOL.
I used some dp from MME - Home stack for the 3 panels and unusual for me I used the basic gray cs for my card base. I usually use either white or vanilla since they are in more abundance and easier to restock.
I used white on the inside so I could stamp the sentiment and stamped in lost lagoon the Birthday Innies sentiment from sweet-n-sassy stamps.  I love this sentiment and can not believe it is the first time I have used it.  On the envelope I used the balloon stamp from Favorite Teddy Stampin Up set in hello honey ink.
I lost my SU demonstrator and have to find a new one. I also thought I had lost my mojo since a month had past and I just could NOT get inspired by the challenges. Still not sure I ever had any mojo but gave it a shot today anyway. Hope you like it.

In My thoughts with Hope

This is for today's COLOR CHALLENGE # 570 - Honey and Cherry Meadows, Monday's TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE # 573 - Revisiting Emboss Resist, and Monday's MOJO MONDAY'S SKETCH CHALLENGE # 435.
I have been MIA all week last week sick with sinus junk and just not feeling well enough to play and I think it is coming back for round 2 but I wanted to make something today. It started as a sympathy card and turning into encouragement for a co-worker who has worked hard all of her life and just at the peak of her career she goes and has a major stroke leaving her child-like in mentality. Such a sad situation as she was the breadwinner for her family. There is still hope that her faculties might return but not back where they were. The white embossed trees are a sign of winter when the leaves die off and the branches are bare. The mossy meadow tree popped up is the hope of the future that ins the spring the leaves and branches come back to life again.
Off to work I go.
I stamped the single tree on the inside after stamping off 2 times then the sentiment on top of the tree.  I hope she likes it.
RECIPE:
Stamps: In My Thoughts, Lovely as a Tree, Word on Word
Paper: White, Hello Honey, Mossy Meadow, Bo Bunny-Forever Fall dp

Trust God Anniversary

This is for today's SKETCH CHALLENGE # 578. My color combo is from Tuesday's COLOR CHALLENGE # 568 - Saffron Gray Sky. I used a technique called INK, SPRAY, AND SMASH for my focal panel and found out the hard way it is NOT easy to heat emboss on glossy white cs. I stamped the flower and sentiment in versa mark then added some black embossing powder and heat embossed. Did you know glossy paper will bubble up if you hold the heat tool on it too long? LOL oh well. Next time I will just stamp the sentiment in black ink. The flower was ok but the sentiment sorta smudged in some places. This attempt was for Monday's TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE # 571 - Naked Stamping Shannon aka (e3stamper) celebrated her 14th Anniversary on Tuesday and we get together Sunday to actually celebrate so this will be their card.
On the inside I stamped Happy Anniversary sentiment.  Hope she likes it.

Sweet Talkin' Valentine Card

This is for today's TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE # 570 - Dry Embossing with Stencils, today's CLEAN AND SIMPLE CHALLENGE # 361 - Sweet Treats, and today's MOJO MONDAY SKETCH CHALLENGE # 432. I am backing up a couple of weeks and using COLOR CHALLENGE # 565 - What's black and white and red all over? for my color combo.
I tried embossing with my cuttlebug and almost broke a plate and ruined my embossing folder that had 4 different patterns. I was able to save my heart section so I went to my light box. If a hidden camera was around it would be a riot. I have not used my night light in such a long time. It took me forever to remember what and how to dry emboss then I could not remember where my stylet tool was.
Awe finally it all came together. It was a site only my friends at SCS could appreciate. LOL. Now off to work.
RECIPE:
Stamps: Sweet Talk, All Year Cheer III
