Cherry Blossoms of Blessings

This is for today's COLOR CHALLENGE # 602 - Sweet Smoky Razzleberries and Monday's MOJO MONDAY SKETCH CHALLENGE # 467.
I have not been able to play for quite some time now due to torn rotator cuff then repair and the week after my surgery MIL 81 yr old fell and broke her neck in 3 places after 2 surgeries pneumonia set in and she past away after about 1 month from her fall. It has just been one thing after another in this household but today I was determined I was making something even if it failed I was going to try. Finally made it upstairs and this was the end result. I had to use regal rose substitute since I have decided I have more CS than I could ever use and am running out of storage space I opted out of this years in-colors and got as close as I could to sweet sugarplum.
For the inside I kept is really simple and only stamped the sentiment.
RECIPE:
Stamps: Trust God
Paper: Smoky slate, Rich Razzleberry, Regal Rose, Choc Chip, BG Green at Heart DP
Ink: Rich Razzleberry
Accessories: ribbon, spellbinders cherry blossom, spellbinder label 9
Techniques: dry embossing, sponging

Neva, I'm sorry to hear you've had so much on your plate lately! Hope you're healing up quickly and am glad you were able to squeeze in a bit of stamping time. I need to work harder on my endless paper stash as well. Your card is a beautiful take on the sketch and I'm glad you were able to join us at Mojo Monday!

So sorry to hear about the passing of your MIL and your torn rotator cuff, wishing you a speedy recovery. You card is delightfully cheery. I know from my own experience, I stamp best when I'm hurting or stressed. God bless you. Please stop by my blog sometime. victoryfirst.blogspot.com
