Congrats Greeting Card Kids Half On Half Off

This is for today's TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE # 550 - Half On - Half Off, and today's CLEAN AND SIMPLE CHALLENGE # 341 - Back to School. I am not at all sure I am happy with this but it is what it is. Time to move on to some house cleaning. It is Labor day and that means I need to labor. ugh. Anyway I tried 3 times to get a photo that captured the front. IRL it really is lined up. ggrrr. Too many issues this morning and glad I did not have to give up to get to work on time. I stamped the image on white and daffodil delight in tuxedo black then colored the white layer with copics: B34, B37, E21, E23, E25, E50, E51, G40, G43, R14, R17, Y13, Y18. I used some dp from DCWV called Grade School.
I stamped the sentiment from Congrats on the inside and envelope in cucumber crush. I will be giving this to one of my 2 younger grands after next year graduation up to next level. I hope you like it better than I do.
RECIPE:
Stamps: Greeting Card Kids, Congrats
Paper: white, daffodil delight, DCWV Grade school dp
Ink: momento tuxedo black, Cucumber Crush
Accessories: dimensionals
Techniques: copics, half on half off

Congrats w/Build A Flower

This is for today's COLOR CHALLENGE # 276 - Farewell to Blushing Peach Crush Pizzazz Parade. So sad to see color go, I am going to miss them all.
This is also for Monday's TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE # 378 - Brayered Paper Elements and Monday's CLEAN AND SIMPLE CHALLENGE # 171 - Sketch by Tilly. Today I used my new "Build A Flower" die set from Cheery Lynn again but joined the pieces with some baker's twine which I found a little easier then a huge brad that tore to holes open, grrrr.
I cut the flower petals in white then brayer blushing bride and poppy parade less than half way up the petals then traced around the edges with poppy parade marker. I added some stickles to the center. My sentiment is from Stampin Up's Congrats set and stamped in concord crush. I think peach was the only color I could not find a way to use.
Off to work and praying for a better day than the last one.
RECIPE:
Stamps: Congrats
Paper: whtie, pear pizzazz, poppy parade
Ink: poppy parade, blushing bride, concord crush
Accessories: dimensionals, stickles, CL Build A Flower die, baker's twine
