A Perfect Blend of Espressing Yourself

This is for today's SKETCH CHALLENGE # 525 and Tuesday's COLOR CHALLENGE # 515 - A Really Crumby Espresso. I also did the dessert making 2 cards. I made them in a contrast form. I used 2 of Stampin up Sets, Espress Yourself and Perfect Blend. I used the coffee beans to make my background using tone on tone on the choc chip card. I colored the coffee cups with copics, cut out the middle of both and popped them up after stamping in real red. The hearts were punches and then embossed with my Quickutz goosebumps Swirls then I brushed the tops of the raised portions with choc chip ink pad. Hope you like them. I have a couple of good friends at work that will see these for valentines day along with a candy cane.
RECIPE:
Stamps: Perfect Blend, Espress Yourself
Paper: Vanilla, Real Read, Crumb Cake, Chocolate Chip
Ink: Momento Espresso, chocolate chip, real red

I have not used my Prismacolor pencils and gamsol in so long I almost forgot how. Another resolution was to complete the inside and outside, possibly the envelope as well. Today I did just that.

Happy Anniversary Card for Andy and Nikki

This is for today's TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE # 517 - Triple the Possibilities, today's CLEAN AND SIMPLE CHALLENGE # 308 - New Year Resolutions, and today's MOJO MONDAY SKETCH CHALLENGE # 381. My New Years Resolution is to complete the inside along with the outside on all the cards I make this year. Today I did that with the help of Sweet N Sassy's Inside Innies for Anniversaries. I used the single tree from Lovely as a tree for my focal image, inked it with chocolate chip and wild wasabi inks and stamped after huffing. I colored inside and around and make some grass around the tree bottom. I curved the sentiment and stamped it in Primrose Petals. This is going next door to a nephew and his wife for their 1st anniversary. Hope they like it
RECIPE:
Stamps: Lovely as a Tree - SU, Anniverary Innies - SNS
Paper: white, DCWV dp
Ink: Wild Wasabi, Primrose Petals

Hogs and Kisses

This is for today's SKETCH CHALLENGE # 523 and Tuesday's COLOR CHALLENGE # 513 - Basic Bermuda Slush which sounds so yummy even as cold as it is.
I found this digi image in my stash from years gone by and just had to color it up. I used copics and as I was coloring I realized how long ago it was that I printed this because it was certainly before I found the right paper for copic coloring, oh well, no time to reprint and start over just had to go with it and make the best of some therapy time. I stamped the sentiment from All Year Cheer that reads "hugs and kisses" and changed the u to an o. I think I will give this to my darling daughter e3stamper (aka) Shannon. She will get a kick out of it.
RECIPE:
Paper: white, Bermuda Bay, Strawberry Slush, DCWV - Blossoms & Butterflies dp
Ink: Bermuda Bay
Techniques: copic coloring, 3D

Pure White Love

This is for Monday's TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE # 516 - White Out and Monday's CLEAN AND SIMPLE CHALLENGE # 307 - Use Your Words.
This is for my darling hubby next month. I love him so much and on the inside I will write "My love for you is as pure as the color white". Hope he likes it. I used 2 sizes of scalloped and classic Nestability Hearts. The largest classic is the actual card and the larger scalloped is matting the card. I used my quickutz "love" letters and popped them up on dimensionals as well as the 2 matted smaller hearts. It is amazing how just white can make such an elegant creation.
RECIPE:
Stamps: none
Paper: white
Ink: none
Accessories: Nestability Scalloped Hearts, Nestability Classic Hearts, Quickutz love letters
Techniques: white out

My sentiment is from All Holidays and stamped in Rich Razzleberry. I used old olive to ink up the embossing folder then embossed on blushing bride. This will go to my MIL in May. She loves my handmade cards. Hope she likes this one too.

One Color All Holidays for Friends

This is for today's TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE #515 - Multicolor Sentiment and today's CLEAN AND SIMPLE CHALLENGE # 306 - Just One. I went with the monochromatic look to do both challenges and made a simple and fast card to boot. Whoopi for me, so glad to get to play. I dusted off a Kaleidacolor pad of blues to stamp my all time favorite SU sentiment, matched up some card stock for a matt and ribbon for decoration and viola, I was done. Hope you like it and I know just the friend I am giving this to. Hope she likes it too.

ETA: Why am I never satisfied with a card I make?? I always think of something I could have done better or different after I have loaded. Well that is what happened to this one too. I add some some faux brads with punches from my crop-a-dile using tempting turquoise cs. Hope the improvement makes it better.
RECIPE:
Stamps: All Holidays
 Paper: White, Tempting Turquoise
 Ink: Kaleidacolor Blue Breeze
Accessories: Ribbon
Techniques: One Color, Monochrome Sentiment
