COLOR CHALLENGE # 281 - Crushed Daffodil Pizzazz. EEEKK! I do love these colors together but my SU order is not here yet again another week of new colors and I don't have them yet. I almost let this one slide past without doing it but my dd (e3stamper aka Shannon) was asked to sample with Betty this week and would NOT let me out of it. LOL. So I took her advice and got my BV17 copic marker top and went searching for matching dp when a light bulb went on in my head. I still have some dp from yrs ago when we bought a stack of "Tuscany". shh don't tell Shannon I still have some, she likes to borrow stuff that I tend to hoard. LOL. Anyway I found some dark purple cs from some Michaels stack and used as my base. My strip across the middle is so saffron embossed on the negative side with so saffron ink on Argyle embossing folder which is
TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE # 160 - Cuttlebug - The Negative Effect. I love using this and need to do it more often. I used some ribbon that I hope is a close match to pear pizzazz and topped it off with purple hemp tied through a yellow button. My image is from Stampin' Up's "Fruit Stand" set that I just love. These grapes are so yummy. My image was colored with copics
BV11, BV13, BV17, Y21, Y23, YG01, YG11, & YG21. I sponged so saffron around the inside of Nestie Label 4 while it was still in place. My layout is from Monday's
SKETCH AND STASH CHALLENGE # 40. I love simple sketches so this was just what I needed. I hope to have the correct colors next week. Everyone have a fantastic "HOT" summer day.
